most people don't do siesta and as and apanish I can tell you that it's a pain in the ass when the only free time I have for a break at work is in the "siesta time" and most of the local shops are closed. It's a shame bc that force you to buy in chains or in multinacional stores or big supermarkets. For me is pretty anoying actually and it just happens in little towns or not really big citys. If you move to madrid or Barcelona this never happens.

Are you really in Spain or where ? Siesta ? Haha no. People work from 8 or 9 am to 1:30 pm. Go home, cook for the family, then back to work, from 5pm to 9 or 10 pm. They don’t do the whole straight 8.5 hours (counting the 0.5 hour for break like in the USA for example). Old people and children might take the siesta, and that is something most people in those categories do in any country).
