Origin idea:Seawater
You are literal water.
Pros:
Ancient Arts:you have learned how to heal you and others around by being near humans for so long.(Primary Key, 15 second cooldown)
Sea Speed:Since you are made up of water, you swim faster and can breathe underwater.
Sea Smash:You jump in the air and splash so hard you create waves. (10 Second cooldown, Secondary key)
Soft landing:People that fall on you will not take any damage and nor will you.
Water wheel:You send a wheel of water flying towards your opponent, cutting their health in half. (30 second cooldown, tertiary key)
Neutral:
You have a blue hue and are slightly transparent.
Carriable:You are able to be carried in water buckets.
Cons:
Seabound:Since you are made up of water, you cannot live on land.
Water-like:You are made up of water, hot biomes are not for you.
Unstable:You can only hold your humanoid form for 10 seconds on land, any second after that you start to dissolve.
Abstract:Due to you being water, you cannot hold anything properly(cant hold any combat weapons, meaning if you are going to fight, you have to rely completely on your abilities.)

Idea:
Black Swordsman
A lonely and skilled swordsman who was cursed long ago.
Pros:
- Advanced sword skills: Since you always have trained with a sword, you deal more damage and swing it faster than a normal person.
- Tough body: You fought a lot along your life, got injured several times and still recovered from that wounds. Your body have endured and you have more life hearts.
Carnage: When you are fighting, you fight risking everything and fight with all you got.
You got stronger and stronger for every hostile mob you kill (the effect lasts until you are safe)
The magic inside you: witches recognize your suffering and you can trade with them
Berserk rage: When you are fighting and got heavily injured, you gain an enormours strenght, speed and resistance, also regeneration as if pain is not a thing to hold you back. But in this form you can't place blocks or craft anything, also passive mobs run away from you.
Cons:
The mark: You cannot run from a sacrificed's destiny, you always have bad omen, EVERY mob that can attack you (not the iron golem, wolves, alpacas, bees and witches) will charge against you, even if they were not provoked by you.
At night time, undeads will spawn more often around you and phantoms will chase you every single night.
Also, hostile mobs notices your presence from further.
The mark burns whenever there are a hostile mob near (also if you are in range of a ranged mob, like ghast and skeleton) you, the pain rises according to the number of hostile mobs, this effect pass when you are safe or fighting.
Awareness: since almost everything will attack you at night, you can't just sleep and wait those things catch you
Lonely: It is better to stay alone to keep others in safety, that also aplies for pets, it would be too dangerous for that poor animal to stay with you, so you can't have a pet
If the merling doesn’t like the enderian they can just summon rain

Origin idea: fox
Pros:
(Sneaky fox) other mobs/players cannot hear your footsteps
(Swift fox) you have swiftness 1 forever
(Stealthy animal) you can turn invisible for 1 minute(no swirls, can cancel affect)
(Sweet rabbit) if in 20 blocks of rabbits (north, east, south, west, north east, south west,) you get jump boost 2 and swiftness 2
(Fragile rabbit) you kill rabbits with 1 hit with only hand
(Natural habitat) if in forest or snow biome, you get attack 1
Cons
(Angry wolf) wolves naturally attack you
(Wolf fangs) wolves do 3 in a half damage to you
(Species group) you cannot hurt people with the feline origin or with fox origin at all (with explosives or with any sort of weapons) (they cannot hurt you either)
Fox is already one made for Fundy
Origin idea: S a n i c (mostly jokes, Would be hilarious if you did it.)
Speed II and jump boost at all times, Haste III to those speedy fingers
When pressing Q you can dash (Like in a circle like sonic does) Effects to the enemy after being hit are: slowness for 5 seconds, Weakness, Deals just 4 hp dmg
When obtaining gold, You can deal +1 half hp depending on how much gold you have in your inventory (limit is to +3 hearts)
When dying and then respawning, You have slowness for 10 seconds
Foxes help you attack enemies when they see you getting attacked
hunger bars are lost when pressing Q (range of 2-5)
When dying, You get revived if you have gold. But you lose all your gold. Basically insta heal after dying
Speed in soul sand, It’s like soul speed II or something
Depth strider in the water (like dolphin effect)
Origin idea: Ender lord
The Lord of all ender cities. Commander of Dragons. Banished to the overworld after fall of the ender city due to the great War with the Nether lord
Pros:
Ender strength: deals 1.5 more damage and has slightly longer reach
Overload: has the ability to charge energy in left hand and release it causing and explosion (cooldown 20 sec)(it has the same power as an ender crystal)
Godly eyes: Can disable any enchantments in sight for 30 seconds (cooldown 30sec)
Pearl control: can store upto 3 pearls in different locations and upon snapping teleports to the closest of them (max distance 400 blocks)
Cons:
Has 3 less hearts
Cannot equip sheild due to overload
Gets damaged from water if not wearing armour
Neutral:
Real powers: when in end gets back his original powers
All cons are disabled (except sheild)
Deals 2x damge
Overload deals damage equal to 3 ender crystals (10 sec cooldown)
Enchantments are disabled for upto 10 minutes (10 sec coolodown)
Nether lord:-
Lord of the fortresses. Commander of beasts. Banished to the overworld after the great War with the ender lord
Pros
Burning strength: deals 1.5x dmg
Burning sword: ability to summon a sword with permanent fire aspect 2 (same damge as diamond)
Overgeneration: can summon upto 9 tentacles made up of nether materials which target and damge enemies (upto 4 hearts)
Apport: can generate 9x9 walls instantly for protection (can be made of any of the blocks found in the nether)
Fire resistance: (immune to lava and fire)
Cons:
Cannot use sheild due to Overgeneration
Cannot use anyother sword except it's own
Has 3 less hearts
Gets damaged from water if not wearing armour
Neutral:
Real Powers:-
Gets real powers back when in nether
Disables all cons except sheild and sword
Overgeneration can summon upto 18 tentacles
Can generate 12x12 walls
Deals 1.75x damge
Cooldowns same as ender lord
Ah yes the tentacles have fixed damage regardless of armour
Deals 1-2 hearts of damge

Origin idea:
The knight of the dark:
You're an legendary knight of the past that people liked and praised , but after the kingdom have fallen to ruin you died in battle, many centuries later you wake up as an undead and working with undead
Pros:
Broken justice:
Since you are a being of evil and good
You have 50% chance to double the damage of undead or living beings
An old reputation:
(you can trade with living and undead beings)
Since you died as an legendary knight for the living and and a bad reputation for working for the undead, you can trade items but, since you have a reputation for the living and the dead, the price of items that sold to you can increased or decreased, for living beings and undead
Undying body :
Since Your body decayed after your death, you can't heal normally, you need to use other mobs body part of the undead like( rotten flesh, bones ) to heal, or use poison potions, or harming potions
No hunger:
Since your stomach have decayed you don't have any stomach, since you don't have a stomach, you don't need to eat
Armor of honor:
Before you died you have given armor of honor (made by Iron) the armor have a lot of magic to consecated for its iron tier
It have protection 3, unbreaking 3 ,thorns 3 and mending

The undying body
you're week to any positive effect like healing and instant health
Weakened body:
You have 8 heart beacause you're an undead
Fear of light:
Since the last time you seen light, and you have been decayed, you get blindness and slowness

You have a skeleton or zombie horse with iron armor that you can summon

You can summon things from the undead, the more souls you kill, the more powerful being you can summon
1-100 kills:
You can summon zombies and skeletons
100-200 kill:
You can summon zombies and skeletons with iron armor
200 - 300 +:
You can summon mutant zombie and skeletons( of 3 each mob)
Sword of darkness:
Your sword have been corrupted after joining the undead
The swords Abilities:
The more kills you get the sword get stronger
Stages:
Stage 1 ( need 50 kills)
Your sword can reach long distance ( 4 blocks) and get stronger in the dark
Stage 2 (100 kills)
You sword can uses the souls you kill to boost yourself (only strength) , (and previous abilities from stage 1)
Stage 3 (200 kills)
You sword have reach the meaning of death, and you sword is sentient because the souls it absorbed , you can throw you sword to enemies, and call it back, and do sword slashes
Weapon con:
It very heavy because you decaying body
And because of that you're a bit slow
Maiden of death ( can summon after 1000 + kills) :
She is your daughter from your past life and she can help you
Abilities:
A helping hand:
since she is your daughter she can hunt, fishing, and cook for you, also she can fight with you battle field
Pros:
Since she died alot more later after you die, her body haven't decayed that much yet, so she have no weakness in the sun
Will of the night:
She gets a speed and strength boost at night
Con:
After she spawns in, she will have nothing so you have to gave her gear and such
She have to eat beacause she still not an full decayed yet, like you

phatom and enderian are major threats now
Origin idea: thorn guardian, you take more fire damage, you are slower on stone, foxes atack you, you release thorns when hit, plus 1 dmg and 2 hp, press g to swing a thorned whip and hold it to fire seeds that grow into thorned bushes, press h to spawn a claw at you cuorser position up to 16 Blocks away, hold it to release a giant, focused and long cluster of flower petals, you regian hunger in the sun and plants grow faster

Origin Idea: The Ancients
You were once part of the ancient builders of the Minecraft world. After the so thought extinction of your kind, you miraculously survived. You are strong, but you need to adjust to the new world, as it is not the same as you left it.
Pros:
Master builder - Due to building so much in your past life, you now have learned to carry more material, granting you 9 more inventory slots.
Toughness - You have 5 more hearts than the present players
Adrenaline - With your primary key, you gain speed 3, strength 2, and resistance 2 for 2 minutes, then you gain slowness and weakness for 30 seconds, and nausea for 5 seconds
Ancient beam - With your secondary key, you gather all of your power into one blast, shooting a laser that does high damage, leaving you immobilized for 10 seconds, and you lose 2 hearts. (Takes 4 seconds to charge)
Old Experiences -
-You can hold your breath longer underwater, due to the challenging years of building ocean monuments
- You mine blocks slightly faster than normal, after collecting blocks so much
- Potions brew slightly faster for you
- You have a better chance of getting higher enchanting levels
- You do more damage to the undead, but less damage under water.
- You see slightly better in the dark
- Netherite armor grants you less damage from fire and lava
- Your reach is slightly better
Passive:
- You do more damage with a sword, trident, and bow, but less damage with everything else. Bow accuracy is increased
- Harvest
if you harvest crops with a hoe, you will get more crop, but less seed with crops that have seeds (wheat, pumpkins etc. .)
Cons:
An odd feeling -
-You feel weird around piglins and endermen, making you do less damage to them, and you move slower in a bastion or end city.
Inexperienced -
- Your shield has a 1/3 chance to fail
- Ender pearls always spawn an endermite
- Your crossbow aim is inaccurate
- Gold and leather armour provide less protection
- You take a tiny bit more damage from soul fire
- You take more kinetic damage
(Specifically elytra)
- You just don't like scaffolding, as you are old fashioned, and you take more resources to craft it
Memories - Creepers, phantoms, and the wither can recognize your face from a further distance, and do slightly more damage
A True Nightmare - Remembering your loved ones, it keeps you awake at night, as you spent it with them.

Perfect origin for me
When I first discovered this datapack before it was taken down, I thought about using it for my own uses. I decided to recode it. The few things I brushed up was the enderian's arrow immunity. And change it with a secondary ability that makes him teleport at a short distance with no cool down to hold him back. It was pretty fun to dodge arrows like that.

Worth noting:You were using a version of the pack where the description for the Adapted Phantom's sky swimming ability worked when not phantomized instead of when phantomized
Iirc this has been fixed, been awhile since I played these adapted bois so I'm not 100 sure, but I am pretty sure it is now as the description says, flight when phantomized.
Honestly, the old, unintentional way made more sense imo, lets you fly at night but burn if you stay out when the sun comes up, just like an actual phantom.

So I have an Idea for a new origin:
Disclaimer:
( x ) - more description
[ x ] - probably some in-game text, could be used to describe lore idk
{ x } - technical notes on some features or questionable moments
"Undead Scientist" - is a skeleton with memory of past life and his inventions.
Perks:
- *undead* , will burn on sun
- *fragile bones* -takes more physical damage and deals less himself, using basic tools (pickaxes/axes etc.) Is less efficient, same applies for bare hands.
- *magic hater* (["World is based on natural laws, not imaginary force!"] - can't enchant stuff, tools with enchantments will lose it's enchantments if you pick them up, same applies for enchantment books. Also takes no extra damage from enchantments and ignores enchantments of enemy he's attacking such as protection. For some reason undead mobs find him an enemy, even though he looks the same)
[He hates magic so much, it seems that magic hates him back... What an irony he's still "alive" because of it]
- *Is a scientist* [When others just take world as it is, scientist however digs deeper and understands not only facts, but the reason itself] (Has a unique crafts that only he can make such as:
- Guns (banal stuff, lethal damage low reload speed, can craft a variety of them, that vary in stats. Also can craft a pneumatic gun that deals low damage, but can use special darts that can apply potion effects)
- Unique armor [Since his body is just a pile of bones, nothing can stop scientist from filling empty space where muscles and organs should be with variety of useful utility tools, mechanisms and extra armor plating] (Can craft Exoskeleton armor, that only he can wear. He can craft different 3 tiers, that would have same armor rating as Iron, Diamond or Netherite armor with protection 2 or 3. Also exoskeleton reduces fall damage, increasing own melee damage, increases speed and jump power) {Maybe exoskeleton armor could be modular and instead of just being reskinned armor it could be more "modular" and different tiers of exoskeleton would just allow more space for different modules that would increase dealing damage/speed/damage taken/jump power etc.}
- Unique tools (steam powered jackhammer/chainsaw/digging machine etc. - consumes coal instead of durability, high efficiency (less than Netherite but more than diamond), cheap (craft is using a fair amount of iron and copper for a basic tool, can probably be upgraded with diamonds))
- Unique alchemy station allowing to craft new type of "potions" - "salve" - has a bit less effect than potion, but lasts extremely long (doesn't apply for instant potions) can be applied on tools and weapons) also new alchemy station would be able to craft 5 potions/salves instead of 3 and more efficient compared to vanilla one. [Technically speaking alchemy =\= magic, when magic is a result of mysterious (non-existent) force, alchemy however is a science about reactions of different components that result in an effect, which is based on laws by which components should react with each other]
- Extra redstone blocks, allowing more complicated logic in less space, some automatization-related stuff (conveyors/auto harvesters/auto-crafting stations etc.)

- disc 11 and 13 is bad for you (11 gives you weakness and 13 gives you blindness)
- can only wear light armor (leather, chainmail, iron)
