Vlad is a very wise man, explaining extremely valuable concepts we tend to lose as we grow up.

I've been waiting for the full interview since the show and it didn't disappoint: What a guy indeed ! I love hearing him talk about alchemy, real magick, synthesizers as windows to out soul, radio to listen to the universe.. so essential in this era that seems to prioritize content over meaning. Thank you so much to both of you for putting this in the world. (and I can wait for Terra.. I've been waiting for this kind of tactile synth all my life !)

So cool to hear this wizard talk in a philosophical way about the music & the instruments. It makes so much sense when he says there’s no boundaries for him between engineering & artistry.

Oh yeah...definitely. Much more than making instruments. Glad you enjoyed it, man!

What a great interview! I'm coming late to the party with Soma instruments but I already know I need to own them all. Loved Vlad's going in depth on the Pulsar and also his questioning of you. I have a similar musical path.

I am completely absorbed by his idea. What combo is best with pulsar 23?

    • @ModularWorld

Thanks for checking out this interview. Vlad is really quite a shaman, for lack of better word.
Combos with the Pulsar really depends on what kind of music you want to make. I've enjoyed mixing it with almost everything. I guess my personal favorite is modulating it from my eurorack system, but I see the stand-alone stuff that people like TAET do with it, and it's incredibly inspiring. Check out:

To start with, I was thinking about Arturia KeyStep Pro Chroma, Meris Mercury X Reverb Pedal and pulsar23. I'm building equipment from scratch and I'm just starting to get interested in music. I've always been bored with the repetition and perfectionism in music, and Vlad opened my eyes to a completely different perspective. I like unpredictability, but not without exaggeration, because to find harmony in it, you have to spend time with it I think. Eurorack...I Am trying to wrap my brain around it. Thise are more synthesizers between which I can make more connections using cables so I can use their unique properties to create something one?@@ModularWorld
