I love the idea of incorporating more "fancy" pieces into your wardrobe instead of them being left towards the back of a closet, they're at the forefront now. I recently decided to let go of anything old that made me feel drab, even when doing laundry (I live in an RV full time and have to use the laundry rooms on sight) and noticed all the women that do laundry, dress in rags with unwashed hair and stains on their clothes. Now I know it's a place of being at home, but I wanted to elevate even that small task, as I noticed it lifted my mood while doing a chore and I was even more approachable, as people would often say Hi and start a small conversation. And in the back of my mind while talking to a stranger, I thought.. "thank goodness I put on a little lip gloss, clean fitted clothes and washed my hair." haha. I think I'd even like to elevate my "around the RV" clothes, even if it's just a day in. :) Thank you for your amazing video as always!

Charcoal grey has always been the shade that looks amazing on you. I remember when you had the stone washed jeans that looked phenomenal. I'm still not sure about this shade of blonde on you, more honey tones would look nice on you & some layers to give you volume. Obviously my opinion, you do you boo boo. Black looks stunning on you. That is a great point. I like the addition of black to a wardrobe. Colour palettes are best based on skin and hair colour etc, and I always look like porridge if I wear beige or most earth tones, so its black all the way for me.

It seems so strange that someone who seemed sure and comfortable with their style can do that drastic 180. Very interesting to watch. And the longer I watch your videos the more I think you are "small number of items but change often" minimalist not the "I buy and have things that I love and cherish" essentialit, minimalist. It's much more consumption-centred than I would expected when I stared watching both your channels. I would love to see how much of older clothes you still have in your wardrobe 🙂
It seems to me that this is a side effect of overly "defining" one's style, too much limitations. Instead of choosing very very precisely what is your personality NOW and getting rid of anything that doesn't fit into this vision, it's much more sustainable to accept that we humans are not static and allow for some variation. I guess that's what's wrong with "redefining" yourself every couple years. When it's so short-termed it feels more like cosplaying as an imaginary version of yourself, rather than actual self-discovery. Change is inevitable, but when it's complete 180° so often - I guess I'd start to question whats actually going on in my life that I feel such a need to constantly resculpt myself. I can't say I relate to Patricia's videos anymore, that's not the approach to style and to personality in general that I'd want to cultivate in myself 😕 Which is sad since I used to love them very much. Patricia, if you're reading the comments - you do you, as long as you're happy - do whatever you want with your style, it's not that serious 😉 wish you all the best ❤
I’d also argue she didn’t really do a “complete 180.” The only major changes I noticed were the incorporation of black items and a few more formal pieces. Her overall style theme and story did not really drastically change.

I actually bought 2 handbags with patterns. That looks nice since I'm usually all in black. I love black and I do look my best in that. However, like you, I do have grey and white in my wardrobe. Even some colours. Not much though. Love your new hair colour and style 💗🌹
