Sad to see and great to see at the same time, poor old 191. She'll never run again but she sure needs a paint touch up and a few parts refitted. Crazy how we have so many Rx's still yet not a single S class :(.
Yea, definitely won't run again, but perhaps some day (When it gets restored to a more presentable state) It could have some carriages coupled up to it and 958 at the back just to shunt it around as if it really could run.
@@Planetrainguy yea, sent 2 emails last night, and they should do it I said visitors will drop and people will hate(if it got worse) if nothing is done so this should work
nice video. I have seen all the remaining Rxs apart from Rx55 at Loxton, unfortunately quite a few of them are not in good static condition. Luckily Rx5 is looked after well even with its funny paintwork, the first time I photographed the loco it was actually under repaint.

Thankyou! Was she worse or better than you thought? In my opinion it is the chassis that needs to be fully replaced. Then the rest of it just a repaint.
@@AM22trainsandthings I think, when it get's the restoration on the chassis, and paint job. Once it is good again. To ensure it's condition when it is restored, move it to one of the old sidings at the railway station.

I've been going there since 2004 so it wasn't a surprise but very disappointing nevertheless. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Would of been interesting to see S 136 there nowadays instead of the Rx.
Yes what a shame none of the class left. There was history there for us to look after for future generations.
