I hope you respond but this has been on my mind and I hope you can answer. How did you get the Giga hearts needed for the Alpha dragon on solo? I want to fight the dragon but giga's hardly spawn and they are OP at level 100+
Setup a generator and place some turrets, when ever you find one.
Yeah I sent an army of rex and allo's that weren't fit for further breeding to their doom against a giga and finished it off with mate boosted Argies with my friend flying the second argy it was rough and my argy almost died so yeah not trying that again lol.

I have never seen a series that is fun, informative and clear of trash talk like yours. Yeah, moving the army from one boss location to another is so much harder than the actual boss fights themselves!
As a newer player who hasn't gotten into much of the tek teir, this is the biggest reason I can't wait to get more of that tek stuff-- so I can use those poke ball things that I've seen you using to transport dinos more easily!

Towards the end I would have been spamming tek rifle that was tooooo close for me lol you had me literally gasping
You can't use Tek weapons in boss battles. However the shotgun would have been pretty effective
Hey Phlinger! My girlfriend and I love your series. We have a private server with a couple friends but lately since it's just us playing we've started joking about our series of "Duoing the Ark".
Anyways, Gamma Dragon how now wiped two of our rex teams. Both Teams had 18 rexs, 1 yut and 1 pig. First team was about 20k and around 500% melee damage. We ALMOST got him and ended up losing. Everything except the yut had prim saddles.
The second time around, the rexs were all around 30k HP and about 400-450% melee. They also had better saddles of about 40 armor. The dragon ended up landing on us at the very beginning and then immediately took back off firing more fireballs. Once he finally landed, our rexs didn't surround him, and all stood in front. So only half were damaging him while all of them were getting burned. We got him to maybe 25-35% health and everything wiped. Also, unfortunately during I realized I forgot to put the pig on ignore group whistles and he also wasn't healing. Besides the obvious, do you have any suggestions to what we could be doing better?
We are prepping Rex Team 3 with rexs about 25k hp and 450-500% damage. (18) all with ascendant saddles of 100 armor. The Yut has about 20k HP and 2.5k Stam, (60 armor saddle) and the Pig has about 20k hp and 25k Food (60 armor saddle).
Once again any tips are much appreciated and we both love your channel! We want to get this done so we can move on to Aberation!
All of my Rex’s are currently 40k health and above and between 700 to 1000 melee. They do the monkey easy but haven’t moved onto other bosses yet. Using asc saddle 95 think.

The dragon's health is huge. Use something that causes damage based on percent
Your Allosaurus- Famine, dead allosaurus has damage 1766,1% and health 56641. This arena alpha dragon is after very easy. What do you think???
While I'm really impressed with the fight there were alot of times where left your dinos unbuffed and used your stamina to attack instead of roaring. I've never done a boss fight so I'm curious about the reason for this

Does the Allo bleed effect work on bosses after patch? If not why did you brought them?

Phlinger, I really enjoy your videos and have watched almost every soloing the ark video. Your series has given me a lot of help doing my own solo play-through. However, this episode confuses me. When you look at the body of your dead allosaurus Famine, he has 56k hp and 1766 melee. I did the math on this, given your original Famine allo stats, and you would have to put 143 lvls into hp and 163 lvls into melee to get this kind of result. Your allo is only lvl 303 however, and at birth Famine was lvl 237 only giving you 66 lvls to work with. Therefore, Famine's stats are impossible to achieve without cheating. I hope I'm wrong somehow, but the math checks out. I understand the pressure to make videos and release them in a timely fashion, but doing something like this would ruin the sincerity of the series for me. I hope you can provide some clarification to this troubled fan :)
Did you include imprint bonus in your math? Imprinting increase base health, weight, melee and torpidity I think
Yes, the bonus is 20%, however the base stats I used were the ones from after he imprinted them 100%. After imprinting, Famine's hp was 6501.7 and melee was 469.4. The wiki describes what % an allo gains per domesticated level, so the math is fairly simple, and it doesn't check out.@@theebee8519
@@LordTimorus Check coffee time with phlinger he has high per lvl dino stats from default official settings maybe old patches has that maybe he buffed them i wish he could answer this
What's the stats of the rex's and allo's?
Probably put all levels into melee seeing how the fire is % based

Because of the BS percentage based damage thing, I don't think Allo's are a good match. They just don't do enough damage. Since your HP is largely irrelevant, you need to focus on dinos that hit as hard as possible to kill him quicker.

can u take the pig into the fight with you or more like 3 to heal while fighting the bosses
Never beaten the Dragon before, but I will try one day. I might use the TEK Rifle too during the moments it flies. Any Damage = damage.
You can't use Tek in Megapithecus, Broodmother or Dragon fight

If I ever find a high level Blueprint for an Assault rifle xD I managed to do it with Rexys from the Jurassic Park Expansion mod.
100k Health, about 700-800% Melee Damage, 7 of them still died.
Ohh, and a Jerboa Level 51 Jerboa. Noodles MVP.
This is why I'll never do a boss fight, my Dino's mean too much to me!
Broodmother and the megapithicus actually aren't to bad even on alpha. I managed to take them down easily solo without a single lost tame. But the dragon on the other hand is insane, killing all but 3 of my tames. The boss fights are fun and I would recommend doing them, with the exception of the dragon if you really fear losing your tames
@@magicbanana5225 What level Dino's are yours. Me and 1 of my friends did the beta broodmother with 8 Rex's which where 30k health and 800% melee + 2 yutys around lvl 220. And 8 megatheriums around lvl 240 which have
@@chobbs3384 Its been a while since so I can't remember the exact stats, but I used 18 therizinosaurs with around 25k health, a yuty and a daedon. Each therizino had around 5 sweet veggie cakes so they could heal, but by the end of the fight with the alpha brood mother some of them came extremely close to dying. The megapithicus however was easily killed by this setup without the sweet veggie cakes. Hope this helps a bit, sorry I am a bit vague on the details.
edit: are you playing on official or your own server? I think the difficultly of the bosses changes to balance them. I did mine on a solo world.
This is not on offical please? How do you have allos with that much health and attack? Please dont make me think I can go Alpha Dragon on official like this! OMG terrible thing!
You get those stats by breeding, they are achieveable on official too.
@terror bird you can easily do those, bring high damage asault rifles as well because they drain the health of the dragon

Guess no one knew about custom settings or having single player settings turned on few years back lol but yeah an allo with 1700 meele and 50k hp that's lvl 300 that's actually insane my very good stated allos on official have 20k hp and 600 meele and that's max level with very good base stats
The beta dragon just wiped out my 20 Rex’s, not sure how to proceed now, having trouble finding high level allo’s
Meatbicycle42 I lost 2 Rex’s on gamma and rest were in beat up bad, scared to try beta. Think I need to build a stronger army
B-Rad my recess had 35-40k hp and 400-500 melee, but just primitive saddles, can’t seem to find any good blueprints
Meatbicycle42 I have 15 Rex’s 45-50k health 600-800 damage, 4 Allo’s 30k health 600 damage, and my Yuty. All basic saddles, can find any good blueprints either. Are you using a Yutyrannus?

Idk why nobody answered this but no you cannot bring a Giga into a boss fight.
You can't bring:
Flyers
Thylas
Gigas
Brontos
Titanosaurs
Titanoboa
Any water dino
Basically you can't take anything bigger than a rex, which lives in water or which fly's.

No you sadly can't bring in anything bigger than a Rex otherwise bring some Gigas and Titans
What about paracers with hanging wall armor and many autoturrets
Cant put turrets on a platform
Paracers have low health, quite slow, bad attack and unless you play on a private server or solo you cant have turrets on a saddle.

had to say one more thing ( this is a walk through video ) we love his pets but to show the results of being a good gamer you half to do horrible hurtful things to achieve goals. just like in life
