The use of wearables in heart failure clinical trials

People living with heart failure experience a high burden of symptoms and functional limitations. However, the ways to accurately measure and report this are currently limited.
In a new publication, AstraZeneca, with their collaborator from the University of Glasgow, show how actigraphy (a non-invasive technique for recording activity using wearables) could be used in clinical trials to objectively measure continuous physical activity and changes over time.
