Indira Gandhi was the strongest leader India ever had. But its equally true Democracy was most stifled in her tenure. Definitely darkest chapter of India. But she was badasss dictator. This movie seems balanced. Shows rise and fall of her. Its actually true Bhindrawale was actually supported by Indira which later backfired when he became ambitious. So Golden temple was invaded. Kangna nailed voice of Indira. You can watch Indira interveiws. She is so close to her voice.

I don't like Kangana. She's questionable personality. But that doesn't mean i would not appreciate her acting if she gives a good performance. Here i can clearly see the Sureet's disliking getting into the way of her appreciating this really well made trailer and amazing performance by kangana. Truth is above any ideology & here the truth is that She acted really well.
Hope this film is nominated for the Best Foreign film at next year's Oscars Awards!! And Kanganaji nominated as the Best Actress!!
