Still relevant in CS 2. At 1:43 though it's not only about front and side but how high in the sky you look. Also, you don't need to crouch, that sounds obvious when you do it but should be specified. I'm practicing it and could do it two times, I guess I'm now in for hours of trials until I master it

When people are in mid-air with W, it becomes uncontrollable. So, when you get off the ladder, You should release W immediately. (release *your finger(?). Sry im poor english learner. btw, thanks for the comment.)

There’s some setting, I can’t remember it right now but it shows you the clip brushes around the map… where the dude shot his Glock for you to surf is inaccurate.
ANYWHERE off the roof until past that thing that juts out will work. The ramp runs right from the very edge of the top of mini til when you fall off.
Just walk off the roof of mini, then hold a while looking parallel to the wall you just walked off
