Problem with Mulan is she doesn’t have any form of sustain. Damage reduction is good but if not being attacked then you end up not utilizing it and overall less reliable than a simple heal. I agree, personally I replaced the first life item with life steal, I'm not really an expert in this Moba, but that little life steal with mulan has helped me in many situations
