Being fluent has nothing to do with being articulate. Some people can be fluent, but not all people can be articulate. Rosé is fluent and articulate at the same time. She's also very articulate in Korean, though she's not that good in Korean as she said.

Funny how Jennie's the one who said that though given how she used to half-ass things back in 2018. BUT that could be the EXACT reason why she said this now at 2020, she's grown.
This is a REALLY good interview. He made everyone comfortable and asked some really meaningful questions. I hope that more people can actually treat them as a group and not as individuals. I know that some of the members don't get the treatment that they deserve (such as line distribution), but all of them shine and had memorable moments. This is a group effort and what's best for the group. Like Lisa said, "We're a family".

i have no problem with solo stans, but the akgaes...man. they're something else. they can't help but drag other members down, it's exhausting to see as an OT4 stan, myself. Their comeback might be always eventful but it's not because of the quality of the songs though. It's the hype (their persona and what they do outside of music) and starving fans that help them.

@Talen Ted Yes, but in the context of BP the high expectation is accompanied by anxiety that another comeback is not gonna be soon, they're used to being starved, hence trying every way to make ANY comeback as eventful as possible. BP's hardcore fans keep bragging that with such a short list of discography BP maintains to be relevant, but they don't understand the logic of it. The less songs and the more sustainable hype you have, your fans effort are more CONCEENTRATED in the few discography, hence higher numbers of listenings and views. Comparing the number with those groups with longer list of discography whose fans get a lot to choose from (hence more distributed number of listenings and views) to measure RELEVANCE is just a mistake.

They debuted 4 years ago and is now one of the Top GG, even Kpop Group around the world is a huge feat, its just part of the marketing and because of that they would be relevant for many years to come. Also their music, yes they have more smaller options to listen unlike other groups and it sucks as a blink but tht doesnt mean that their of low quality actually its quite the opposite, their music is a bop and very memorable.

1- the interviewer is engaging and have chosen great questions and true things to point out about them.
2- the girls are very comfortable and gave such genuine and elaborate answers about how we actually connect with them and how they click with each other, not to mention they're no longer afraid to talk about their work flow finally.

This whole interview was EVERYTHING! Everything they said was so cute. For example I love when they said that they were family and they learn more and more about each other every day. I especially loved when Jennie started talking about how their fans have said that they inspired them because there’s other people and fandoms out there that say that Blackpink isn’t inspirational and nobody gets inspired by them. But Jennie being the queen she is LITERALLY SAID that their fans have TOLD THEM that they inspire them. Even if Blackpink doesn’t have the most inspirational lyrics them being confident is still very inspirational for many others. They uplift us and we uplift them. The way Jennie just always speaks her mind and is never afraid to stand up for what she values and believes in. She's always so open and honest to her fans and I love that sincerity within her.
Jennie is quite possibly one of the few idols out there who are transparent. With her it's quite simple, what you see is how she feels. She doesn't feel the need to conform to societal expectations of how idols should always be perfect, smile and attempt to appear friendly. I like her genuine personality as it's rare to see especially in the KPOP scene. Although I do understand why some other people would be triggered by her presence because it's something they're not used to. Her honest expressions shows her trust towards her fans to accept her as an imperfect but very relatable human being.
