One of the best tips I can give as a mum is if you want the babies to eventually sleep through the night you should have the lighting in the room as dim as possible and don't interact with them during night time feeds.
Yes even when I was up every 2 hrs..I would make sure you distinguish between day and night so eventually they learn the difference.. Do night feeds no lights on..maybe a dim night light and keep quiet.. x
Oh dear Gareth, you look so exhausted. Maybe it's your turn for the two hour massage, or even just a two hour break out of the house at someone else's for a bit of unbroken sleep. It does get easier, but that's not a lot of help when you're in the middle of it. Much love to you both xx

You could see how peeved Gareth was at him booking a 2hr pamper session when Gareth had things to do as well as looking after the babies. It's hard enough for new parents from lack of sleep etc but it's so much worse when 1 parent is slacking off like Ollie is doing. new born stages are the most tiring part the days all blend into one and stress is hightend , they grow so fast you don't realise 😭🥺you've got this daddies 💙❤️it takes time and practice

You remind me so much of my husband and I. When our twins were babies, gareth I feel your pain 😂 you are both so incredible parents. Please ask for help in the nights if your struggling, pride would never let me and it was a hard few years x
IT GETS better, not sure about premies, but normally AROUND 9 WEEKS, when it feels like you are hitting rock bottom from lack of sleep and exhaustion, the babies start to sleep for longer periods of time and you get a glimpse of what it feels like to be human again. Hang in there, be each other's greatest supporters, and before you know it the sun will shine through. (Well, not sure about England....:) )

I was 19 when i had twins. Id already got a two year old. Then 18 months after the twins i had another and became a single parent. I had 4 under 5 years old. I was 21. Now that was BLOODY HARD WORK. my eldest is now 42.
New to watching these guys but I see red flags unless they get a maternity nurse to do at least some of the nights or Ollie puts the babies first before his own vanity. Gareth is just impressive.

Nighttime is no joke with twinnies, we have been there and it is sooi sleep depriving. Nighttime snacks help, a treat of a choccy biccy by the formula bottle maker is a must! Xx

I know you're filming but keep the lighting low in your bedroom and unless the nappy is full of poo or pee skip changing it the cold air hitting the skin wakes up the babies,just a tip for you two dads 💜💜💜
Every mum in the comments knows Oli isn’t pulling his weight, my partner was exactly the same. Our daughter was 5 months before he changed her nappy, I was literally in the bath one night and he came in and told me she had done a poo I had been in the bath all of 5 minutes so I told him well you better go change it! Told his mum the next day and she told him off, since then he has done his fair share of nappies! She’s now 1.5 and I still very much do everything, but he does help out 🤷🏼♀️

Tickle under the chin when they are slow to feed or jet milk in you could try a bigger teat hole size it's all a game as long as they feed enough all day that is what matters 2.5floz per pound per day to maintain weight more to gain talk to them as you feed tell them about your favourite holiday etc they just need you to chat I had twins lost one at 6 days old the one I brought home was a piglet that never slept

Come on boys you can do this, I breast fed my twins for 6 months. Not that they’re father was any help he was useless. My babies are 26 now and they are wonderful.But just you wait you think it’s hard now wait until teenager years. I have a boy and a girl as well.

I also never changed the nappy at night unless they did a number 2. Lights down, no talking or changing.
As a mum, trust me when I say things like that don't always work for every baby. Just be prepared if they don't.
