I have a 1924 Buffalo nickel what is it worth
This was just excellent, many thanks. I have a collection started in the 80s that exceeds 200, the vast majority with dates. A handful of coins I feel could be graded, just not sure what grade justifies that decision. What are your thoughts on that?

I recently bought a 1918/7-D nickel that was Nic-a-dated to bring the date out and then was acid cleaned. I know that destroys the value of a coin, but is useful for identifying key dates on worn coins. Aside from the date, the rest of the coin looks about G/VG details, and I paid well under the lowest AG3 price. I normally avoid cleaned coins like the plague, but made an exception in this case since the prices on problem free coins are super high, and it's just to fill an album.

Thanks again for the information. I only have ONE (1936 don't know Mint) that is mounted in a mandella bezel (pot metal). It is a strong strike and very good details (don't know the exact grade as it is mounted). Thanks again Daniel.

Love the Buffalo nickels. My 1937 has triple die strikes visible and is near BU condition with cartwheel Lustre. I have no idea what it's worth and it doesn't matter. It's my favorite coin and I'm keeping it. Paid $25 US for it on eBay. The coin and I are no longer in the country. : )

It's not worth sending in, it's a no date 1913 worth a $1

I have this nikel. 1937 D and the words and date has double die and it is uncirculated you believe certified. It would be worth more than the one with only 3 legs
You will have to have it graded and certified.

Yes, they do grade them, PCGS and NCG will grade coins worth over a million. You must have misunderstood something.

It's not a mint mark. Mint marks are hand punched and look the same size and shape and none are hand punched by the head. So you're seeing something else.

I have a 2004 D nickel,lewis And Clark,weight of 5.11 with crazy almost unbelievable shapes or characters that are created and appear only as you are moving it towards the light with a magnifier.it includes a dead soldier or resting,I remember someone mention something about it,but I cannot find anything on this extrange coin.does anyone know anything about it?
Coins are not created this way, you're seeing things in the toning that is not there. No different than seeing things in the clouds. You will never see an error selling at a major auction house or graded that changes shapes when you turn the coin.

No Buffalo nickel came from the mint without a date. It wore off and that is a common thing. I sell them by the roll.
