I'm Canadian, never paid a dime in healthcare costs, no premiums, no copays, care is excellent. Like all systems it has its problems. One that we don't have is having to argue with an insurance company that we pay hundreds a month in premiums and get denied, and if we are approved we don't have to pay a deductable. that's called extra billing and its illegal in Canada. Create an affordable system made in the USA. make it happen. UHC...UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. FREE LUIGI.

Artificially Paywalling access to basic medical care is incredibly profitable. That's how these middle men of healthcare got so big.
Being A vampire between people and medical science. sucking the literal life out of the populace. To make a few already wealthy people insanely wealthy.

Quite correct, vampires, the CEO of United Healthcare was a husband and father raising his kids on blood money.

I am very surprised by the fact that this video is not getting more views since the topic is sizzling! Is the algorithm not working? Hard to imagine people being interested more in decluttering videos than this one. In any case - hope the comments will help. Great talk, thank you!

Speaking from years of US healthcare experience- people don’t seek treatment until it’s too late, they *die* to avoid bankruptcy/ homelessness. The US for-profit health insur system *rations* care by leveraging high deductibles, delays and denials that fatten their pockets while denying coverage to their members who pay monthly premiums. Healthcare needs to be a govt-administered *service* not “insurance” because healthcare is needed more often than infrequent emergencies/ accidents/ natural events. We are the *only* democratic, industrialized country without some version of universal healthcare! Don’t fall for insur co’s scare tactics/ propaganda, see the data online- univ hc has better outcomes, greater longevity than US.

Yes. Their executive level management team should be jailed if they knowingly put policies in place that deny care to people in desperate need of surgery or medicine.

I need to ask. how did the US healthcare system get so messed up and to the point it is now? Unaffordable, horrible treatment of people, high prices, allowing the industry to charge outrages fee's and costs for meds. Its time to act, no turning back. love those glasses. looks like the computer from the old starlost tv series. th-cam.com/video/6VEaU4G_e7k/w-d-xo.html

Health insurance is not healthcare. That's the first thing we need to get straight.

The only way to break up monopolies is to reimpose 70% top marginal corporate tax.

What good is breaking up big corporations into smaller ones.. that will be just as bad....the problem is making health care a for-profit business. And not even mentioning that it is tied to your employment, who the fk thought that was a good idea?
