A few friendly tips i own a 1991 mx too and just some things I have learned (1.don't tighten the spark pugs with a ratchet it is easy to over torque them and for some reason they won't fire) (2.the fuel pump in the nicest days is a complete c@#t so when u turn the sled off for the night there is a red valve above the pull cord if u open the hood that is ur fuel on and off valve so when ur shutting it down just flick it shut and it will run like a top in the morning) (3. You have to be generous with that primer trust me when I say it will need it on cold days) (4. Clean ur carbs once a month if they start getting bad it could help with ur idle) (5. If u have to take the airbox out take the whole carbs out same amount of screws and the boots on the engine are more forgiving and it is easier to fit into the engine agian) (6. Don't put ur spark plugs in the holder I did and if they are there for more then 2 weeks the metal will code them cuz the rust on the frame) (7. Let the sled warm up and when I say that like turn the sled in then put all ir gear on then when u come back u should be good and it will idle if u adjust ur air screws and clean up carbs) other then that it is a clean sled man and love the helmet lol
@jordanholman1283 What do you recommend for cleaning carbs, some sort of spray or taking them all apart and cleaning thoroughly? The latter sounds like a bit of a chore to do monthly

if you ever flood any carburated engine hold it wide open to clear it out
