The drummer really is insane! If you like this music and good drums maybe check out 65daysofstatic and their older albums. Good guitar and especially insane drums! One of my favourite songs from them is "when we were younger & better"
But this band has been around for over a decade and so has this song. They are not one of the bands you're referring to - they spawned most of those bands. I encourage you to follow up on imHXCw00t's advice and I'd also be genuinely interested to hear your thoughts on who's doing this style better. Thanks!
