At LOS VA-QUEROS last year from December until may every week you could limit out on good size trout from a boat or shore. Plus there are plenty of big catfish and bass being caught right now. They just started planting trout again when the water reached a cool enough temp.

The fishery is not taken over by stripers. Catch just as much catfish and even more trout there
