As someone who’s dealt with this firsthand I can see it in his face, the way he moves and the way he speaks. It hurts man because I remember speaking the same way, acting the same way and just trying to push it away even thought you know it won’t leave. My heart goes out to his family, his loved ones and most importantly to him. I wish I could’ve given this kid a hug and let him know I feel what he feels and I think what he thinks and that he wasn’t alone. May your soul rest easy in the arms of god, watch over your family bro they’ll miss you forever.

Super sad. As a Dad of two young men 6 and 9 and we’re in the early stages of sports, currently doing Little League baseball- this makes me double think when chatting and coaching my own boys. Playing a sport puts you in a serene state of mind. And watching the promise of these young men really puts things in perspective. I’ll make sure to let my two boys know how much they mean to me no matter what. RIP young man. You looked like you had God given talent young man ❤️🙏🏽

Some people don’t like the idea of making a business video about a deceased person, but I don’t think this channel would do that, especially since their goal seems to be to promote players so they have a better chance of been signed which Ryan won’t get to accomplish. And this video is demonetised. That’s why a lot of these type of videos disable liking. This video was definitely from the heart.

Hell, I'm now 33 and I remember when someone I played with when I was his age passed away from just being involved with individuals he shouldn't have been involved with. Had so much potential at only 16. Was gone one day to the next. Even though what happened to him was sort of a result of his own choices. It still sucked and I couldn't help but feel bad. Then I hear about young players like this, who just seem like they love the game and that's their cherished moments they share with their friends and family and community. Then suddenly taken by accidents. It hits hard, I know many of you are young. I'm still young in terms of age. But, when you are older. You will see why these moments hit you harder. Cuz you have lived them and out lived them. Sometimes I wonder how I am still alive today and I just have to remember it literally is a blessing. Love people my fellow ballplayers. Challenge each other, but don't hurt each other. Rest well Ryan.

My tennis partner passed away my sophomore year on his way back from spring break. He was a senior and had just signed to go to the Navy after graduating. My grandma passed away the next day, and they were burning on the same day. Her funeral was first and I remember feeling relieved for her. She had been suffering for a while. When I got to my tennis partner’s funeral though, I just broke down. Seeing his pictures playing tennis and marching in band just hurt too much and I sobbed for him and the future he had in store for him. That was a rough few days.
