Hi Petra, I am so sorry that I have had a break since just before the lockdown. We had a few days with our daughter by the sea where we feel most happy, as we were waiting for our government to act. We have been self isolating since the beginning as we are both over 70, and both our daughter and I have health problems that make us very vulnerable to the virus. We have all kept well by being very careful, but are very aware that too many people have died in our country by acting too slowly and not clamping down on those that are too stupid to behave sensibly. I see that you have been unwell, and I do hope that you and your partner are both keeping well now. May I congratulate you on the tutorials that you have been doing recently. I love the Etare, I am sorry if I got that wrong, but I have been looking for one for quite a while, so I will now make one. You really have been my inspiration over the last 2 or 3 years. Me and my boyfriend have also self isolated. He only goes out to pick up groceries. I understand that you are careful. Yes, I was not feeling well and I needed to do a lot of tests and they came out all positive. So that's good, it all has to do with past trauma's when I was a child. Thank you so much for your nice compliment on my cake stands (etagere). Yes, you should deffinitely try and make one, it's so much fun. I hope you stay safe and healthy. ❤

Dear Petra.....what a beautiful tutorial you shared! The colors go marvelously well together.....they seem to melt into one another just in the right places. I particularly admire the lines created by the plastic on the inside of the bowls....it adds class and creats a specific transparency wich transfers from one bowl to the other. The altogether effect of them on the stand is spectacular . Truly one of my favorite amongst your gorgeous creations! Congratulations.
