I wish this was more like Medieval Engineers. All the buildings in that game had structural integrity. No staircases supporting entire buildings there... Well, except when the game glitches out on you.
I think that's a performance limitation. Voxels are only affected by gravity once they aren't connected anymore. The game simply can't simulate all the voxels all the time.
@@ben_1 Someone ought to tell the developer to make things break in voxel "chunks". Like if you were to hit a wall with an explosive, the voxels could break off in dynamically shaped clusters, depending on where you hit it. That way you could have much more of the environment simulate structural integrity, rather than just the small buildings.
Been playing this the last couple of days, and I was thinking of messaging Alex to let him know there's racing in Teardown now, but he's already on it ;)

No. It's not just racing. It's heists and destruction of buildings and stuff like that.
Real big fan you are when you don't even listen to what Alex says. He stated at the start that this racing is just an addition to the game.

This dlc reminds me of those blocky mobile racing games i would play when i was very young around 2012-2014.
I wonder if there's car upgrading? Some of those vehicles looked like mega-upgraded versions...
