My dad once told me, years ago, that the public park a block away from our house used to have a horse track on it, and that if you saw it from above you could still see the outline of the track. There are a lot of large trees in the park now, and maybe the trees and their roots have changed the shape of the land. But a friend has just gotten a license to use a drone, and he loves using it, so maybe I could convince him to photograph the park after the leaves aree gone in the autumn or winter.
