I'd love to hear your reaction to this song and not bc it has the most powerful music but the words touched Christians and non Christians for years! It stayed #1 forever it seemed & they even made a movie about the singer and this song he wrote. A very powerful song. It has a very different meaning for me. I have an adult son that has struggled with addiction and watching this has tormented me, not being able to fix it. He has just shared that he was sexually abused by a friend of his biological father, which the very few times he was around was during my fight to prevent it. This tore my heart to pieces!! I’ve been told to give tough love, cut him off and have nothing to do with him. Absolutely not. I’m his mother. I will go to the ends of the Earth if he calls me there, I will fight Satan, himself, for my son’s soul!! This song says so much of what I feel!! Beautiful!! I will always try to rescue and be there for my son. Just like I know that God will always be there for me!

Hi Leonardo I lost my brother to alcoholism in 2018 to young yo die I’d followed God all my life but I didn’t know where my brother was spending eternity and God and Lauren really saved me because I found her just then Nothing was harder than standing by your brother’s coffin and thinking Is he in Heaven today ? Was my constant thoughts He was my only sibling My mum and dad had passed but they were elderly I nearly lost my faith but one day I was listening to music struggling and I heard her words in the son you just played " Rescue you "! And I starting thinking My fathers prayers from 5am everyday that his son would get help but most importantly that he would find Christ I will never have that answer till I have I reach ever but it was the biggest with my faith with God How could you take him Lord so young and why leave me not knowing where he is to day Then I heard Lauren Diagle and I felt a touch from the Lord that my brother is in Heaven and I didn’t need to cry anymore If you are reading this I want to tell you that God loves you God will find you and He will rescue you from every situation Nothing is too hard for Him He Will go through the fire with you and He will carry you when you can’t walk another step He will pick you up Like the footprints in the sand When there was only one set of footprints Those were Christ’s footsteps carrying you when you can’t walk another step God bless you all reading my story

I am proud to say that I have since dropped the "Non-Christian" title... but I don't know yet what that means. I am still discovering that. I know God loves me, I know He is with me, I know Christ walks with me and leads the way in this channel. I trust fully in Him. I am struggling at the moment with WHAT that means exactly.
