      It's a pretty tense mode, lately I've been winning games with the score 5-4

      Not a fan, takes excessively long and reward suicide attacks too much

      I like the different objective options and it spices it up a bit dispute the longer playtime.

      It's a fun mode that vould use some refinements. I can see them making some changes with match data. I think reducing the win condition to be FT3 points it would be better.

      It's the most zaku mode and map . He's basically the only one who can get to and away from the core without much trouble. But i really like the map and mode 😊

    It's pretty easy to sneak your damage in as Zaku over time on the core. I usually go up on right side, use a boost when it flattens out so I'm at the core at which point I'll mag dump, boost down towards the healing pack as I reload, heal if I need to and grenade the corner to push back any would be threats, zoom out into the general area and dump another mag, boost out into the hallway and smoke up until I'm in the clear.
    This strategy works about 70-80 percent of the time unless the enemy has a cracked Marasai, Pale, or RX-78. The damage isn't astonishing but 6 percent adds up plus the distraction you provide gives your allies some breathing room. The only counter strategy would be for the enemy to play on the first ramp itself, at which point using it as concealment becomes impossible and you just kind of have to take the dick. Idk, could be worth a test

    I have good success using Zaku's grenades before shooting or before reload. It stuns and helps confirm kills on low health enemies. The cooldown is only 7 seconds so they are a bit spammable.
    I made a post about this in the steam forums. As someone who mostly plays casual matches I enjoy matches that are 10-15 minutes.
    This map when both teams are good can force a half an hour match. Especially bad when you need to the Win 7 times weekly.
    Also like many have mentioned. The algorithm is broken I get this mode 50% of the time.

      Bamco adjusted the spawn rate of this map so people will get it more often than other maps, but they'll change it back to normal next week.

    This mode on the one map can definitely wear on you after playing it alot, and I think if it had another map it would work better. I actually like the longer matches, but I agree that if it goes even until the last round it can feel lame winning from just the point capture. I'm kinda surprised people don't like the longer matches though. Just something to mix it up between the other modes. I had one match where my team lost the point and part of the core twice and last round (2-4) we managed to destroy their core and that was crazy fun making the 3 point comeback. I just wonder how they'll change it cause altering the round count will get rid of those kind of comebacks.

    Try remembering to use your dashes more with zaku in gunfights. Seems like you might be focusing so much on your aim and hitting your shots that you miss out on zakus mobility to make other team miss their shots

    Feels like controlling the high ground is almost mandatory for the control point and if you lose it, you're almost 70% sure to be on the backfoot.

    Been having fun on this game mode as a GM and Unicorn Main. With all the routes on this map I’m running all over the place on offense and defense to support the team and take out enemies. Looking forward to more map in the future.

    New map is fine, the mode is just way too long and there’s only one map for the mode. I’ve been getting 90% only this map and it’s annoying how long they are.

      Yeah the increased frequency isn't a bad idea itself but they definitely set the percentage too high.

    So one thing that occurred to me during this video that G-maneuvers like Zaku-R and Sazabi you get a full magazine immediately. So my thought is when you are attacking the reactor a way to increase your dps would be to pop the G-maneuver when your ammo runs low to be back up to max and can continue firing. I will have to gain more experience to see if this is worth it at all.

      I hadn't really thought about that but it could be effective for some suits. I think Sazabi's start animation for his G-maneuver is pretty long though so it would depend on how effective the funnels are against the reactor.

      Gundam's Napalm seem to work really well to finish off the reactor.

    i really like the new mode but it has a tendency to go on for longer than it probably should. i would say reduce the reactor health overall but idk how well that would go over cuz i've experienced firsthand what a full on snowball looks like on that map
    also can we talk about zaku II's damage? like jesus christ that ttk

      Zaku ranged damage is wild. Kinda surprised he didn't get any nerf going into season 4 after the buffs he got before that.

    y'know, Mahiroo killing you a lot only to be blown up by it's own grenade, and I find that very funny because it happens more likely than you might think

    I quite like the mode and the map but it can go for a bit too long, one thing I would change is defense should get 1 point for every reactor charge left rather than the 1 point if you manage to hold the attackers off. It would also help in speeding the game up.

      I second this idea! I had a match, unbelievable as it sounds, where my team would capture point, but be unable to get reactor to even 50% health
      1-1
      next round, enemy captured point but they were unable to get our reactor to 50% health
      2-2
      one team successfully captures, the other team full holds
      it got up to 4-4
      my team won in the end by capturing the point, but it didn't matter who won anymore, I just wanted the match to be over
      rewarding a team with 2 points for a good defense and taking less than 50% reactor damage would prevent that headache of a match from ever happening again

      Your Heavyarms was pretty scary. Kept thinking we were gonna win a fight and then you'd get 2-3 kills with your G-maneuver lol. ggs

    I think I've only seen the full reactor kill once. That days I think the map is fine but the more needs a tweak, make reactor not as durable and offense needs another health drop when pushing into the enemy headquarters. The right side has like no health packs at all and people end up having up to the middle 1k health drop to heal

      Yeah right side definitely needs another health pack somewhere. The middle one is still kinda out of the way and somewhat risky if the defense is holding farther up on the left.

    Not a huge fan of HQ, but as a Heavyarms main, I usually rush the point and do massive damage to the reactor. So, not too bad

    One thing I don't like about this mode is that some units are pretty much required in order to win fast. Heavyarms, Mahiroo and Unicorn are prime examples. You don't get a lot of team compositions to choose from.

      I've noticed that Unicorn + Hyperion seems pretty strong. Especially for pushing up the ramp on the right.

    The headquarter mode is fun, but give too much fatigue
    Every match feels like 30+ minutes round, even though it's rarely surpass 20minutes on me
    Also can't wait to get normal rate for other map, I WANT TO TRY THE NEW HARBOR CITY

    They should keep the attackers' points, but if the defenders should get 2 points when the reactor HP > 50%.
    Also, maybe make the area faster to progress?
    Give attackers 50% addition to their ULT once the core hits 50%?

    Are you gonna get the new zaku and gundam skins? I like the idea for the customized audio

    Have you gotten any frame rate drops during this map? I’ve played it on my gaming laptop as high setting, but I’ve never have frame rate drops in the older maps.
    Seems like there so much going on during the back and forth.

      I personally haven't noticed any frame drops, but I also have a really good graphics card.

    People, I need you to ask me a question, I'm thinking of unlocking zaku melee or heavyarms, which one do you recommend the most?
    because I had zaku melee in mind but I don't usually see it a lot in games, I rarely see a zaku melee both on my team and on the rival team
    but heavyarms I see it quite often and that's why I have that question
    And about the game, it reminds me of my last games that I had in this mode, they were quite tense lol

      Zaku M is only useful in certain maps and Domination modes right now, Heavyarms on the other hand is much more versatile and can be on any maps, but just go with the one you prefer the most.

    I can't really give my say on this new game mode because I only had 2 games and we got stomped so badly it never get pass round 2 and I was always defending.

    I started this game 4 days ago, I was looking into the achievements and noticed one saying "maintain evolution for 120/240/300 seconds" so... what is this evolution despite being the name of the game? In pratice mode it didn't say anything about this evolution and also there is nothing in units or players menu despite of it be in the achievements tab, I don't see anything special happening in my opponents to be using this evolution nor my team, I also don't feel nothing missing in the gameplay so... what is this? Is it a hidden mechanic? Something only buying with money?

      Evolution is basically the same as being "On Fire" in Overwatch. I don't know exactly how they calculate it but I think it includes a few things like damage/killstreak/healing.
      If you look at 3:30 a yellow glow appears below the Ranged Zaku portrait in the bottom left. I'm pretty sure that's what indicates you are in Evolution. There is another state even higher than that where it glows behind the portrait as well but I don't know if that's treated any differently.

    Think I'm just gonna main heavyarms, zaku 2 (ranged/melee) and barbie

    Ok yeah no... Seen a few videos of this game randomly here and there, and the SPEED of it all is just insane. The TTK and Respawn times, not to mention just how fast everything is moving... I'm going to give this one a hard pass.
    Maybe I'm just getting old?
