Said I was going back home. I told my greedy, bad-minded, and jealous sister that I was coming back home. Her reply was," Where are you going to stay "? There and then, I decided to put myself first. I struggled hard to finish school but God almighty held me tight. Now instead of giving money to family, I give it to organizations that help the needy because I remember when I had no food at times as a child. Some Jamaicans in Jamaica just sit on their lazy bottom and believe we should take care of them. Hell no!!
People dont understand that family is everything and in this lifetime we are stronger as a unit. I grudge you that you come from a great family. Sometimes relatives in Jamaica even making up sad stories to fleece their relatives overseas. Sometimes they are even doing better than the overseas relatives that they are begging and guilt-tripping. Most don’t even text or call their relatives to let them know they received it. They only call if they went to Western Union and couldn’t get it. Last thing, the overseas relatives will give them 99 times and the 100th time, when they don’t have it and say no, they get the cursing of a lifetime.

The average rent here for a 2 bedroom $2,300.00 plus hydro, plus water, parking, car payments, insurance, bus fare, food and that is not covering entertainment. We abroad a suffer, the only people flossing are those scamming, saling drugs, sale their bodies. IT HARD IN FOREIGN.

Jayy, I am not even exaggerating. I went to my aunty's funeral several years ago. That aunty was also our caretaker for me and my siblings. The emergency flight was about $800 , no lie from the U.S. I sacrifice and purchase things for the fellows and the females. I sat on the verandah sweating bullets and no one offered me a drink of pipe water. I still continued to wired money for years and it is only this year because I talk about it , they sent a text to say "Happy Birthday. Jayy, I really do not care to see them at all. They don't want to learn how to love, only have baskets out to receive. And they have two nice houses among those relatives. Me, I would rather go to Siberia than to go near those people.
