Thank you for explaining the logic in your hook placing and stitch count. You allow crocheters to feel confident in completing your patterns ! THANK YOU 😊
It is wonderful that you reply to the comments. Wonderful teacher and nice to meet a male crocheting. When my son was in grade 12 he asked me to teach him how to knit. I did and he be made a scarf for a girl that though no one liked her. I was so proud of him❤
I try my best to respond to all my comments. It's one way to display my appreciation for those who are supporting the channel. I imagine that it'll only become harder and harder as the channel grows but, for now, I can still manage responding. Btw, that's a wonderful story. Your son obviously has a kind spirit. Good job, mom! :)
Just found your tutorials and I've watched 9 scarf tutorials in 2 days. lol. I love the way you teach. Keep up the great work! Thank you for the great tutorials.
Thank you so much! Hahaha...and yeah, that's what I think of when I enter the top of the stitch...I picture a knife slicing the icing off the top of a cake, separating it from the actually cake/bread portion lol I'm glad it helps! :)
Awesome tutorial sir, I just created a scarf using Lionbrand truboo yarn being a 3 weight bamboo yarn, but I made it narrower than your sample in the tutorial creating 3 motifs instead of 4. I wanted a summer scarf so it worked out a treat - absolutely enjoyed creating it & thank you for sharing your pattern with us :D
That's wonderful! I'm glad you completed the scarf while making it your own to suit your needs. It sounds like it turned out well. Thanks so much for letting me know :)
Thank you! Yeah, when working on longer projects, it can definitely be a good idea to step away for a bit. When you return, you inevitably feel refreshed :)
Just discovered your channel this evening on 3-15-23 I throughly enjoy watching you demonstrate this amazing scarf, working on it now. Thank you, Wanda Mucciaccio from Attleboro Massachusetts
Awesome oops! So funny n yet encouraging! Will you ever consider making any what to practice videos? Sometimes I want to crochet yet not make anything. Thank you for the vid!
And what do you know? I comment on another vid that the beautiful scarf is too thick for where I live and the next vid is the perfect scarf 😂 it’s nearly winter in Australia but it’s not really cold here thank goodness so cheers for this tutorial 😁👋
I don’t know what I do wrong, but I always end up shortening my rows. I’ve used the counting method, as well as the plastic markers to mark the end holes. It is beyond frustrating!
Hmmm 🤔 I’m sorry, it has to be something. Don’t give up. Just step away from it for a while and start fresh once you’ve relaxed a bit. Follow the tutorial very closely.
Porque dises "top the icing off the top of the cake", no estamos baking, es crocheting, you're funny, Lol love your video, I'm watching and wanting to do this scarf, later ok 🥰🥰
It’s just a fun and easy way to remember things and because that’s what I think of. Also, you’re not baking when you’re “slicing the icing”; technically, you’re eating 😂
I am trying this and getting frustrated. I chained 19 stitches and when I go to do row 1 it doesn't line up with having to skip stitches and crochet 3 double crochets
I just went back to the video and crocheted through it and it works. I'm not sure what you're doing wrong. Be sure you are putting your first dc of row 1 into the 5th chain away from the hook. Also, make sure you are skipping 3 chains between your groups of 3 dc. You should end the row with two chains. Skip one chain and put a double crochet in the last chain of row 1. I hope that helps. It's all in the video.
Love your work.very well explained.❤😊
Thanks so much! I appreciate that🙂🙏🏾
