- Quick visual guide to the installation of a very affordable electronics set up for your RC Car Kit and as shown here, the WPL C-34KM (or WPL C-44KM) FJ40 Land Cruiser 4WD RC Trail Truck/Crawler. Basically all you need to get your WPL Kit up and running for a small amount!

Note: Don't forget an external LiPo alarm for the battery. Not sure if the ESC has a LiPo cut-off or not.
I also feel that somehow it seems a little underpowered with this set up. Can’t really be the LiPo as I have tested these in other cars as well (and a 2S should be more than enough for this little car), but it feels like it isn’t getting power or/and torque enough. Might be the ESC and motor combined with the weight of the metal axles, hard body and wheel weights? First test run coming up soon, so you can see it for yourself.

Hi Tony! I hope this comes in handy for someone building this. Not sure if it is better. It seems quite underpowered (already rest ran it). Maybe it’s the weight. Or maybe the ESC not delivering enough power to the motor 🤔

Hi Mikael, the plug for the lights goes into CH 3 on the receiver so you can access the lights via the handset 👍

I have the same transmitter and receiver in my grasshopper.
The servo looks like it's from a new bright frenzy I have one I'm in my grasshopper also.
You know that rear wheel drive one you just did a video on I hear that it can actually go double that speed stock then what you got out of it to find out talk to the tank RC about it he says it will go like double the speed of that.
I'm wondering could you use a Tamiya 380 motor on this vehicle from the grasshopper?
hello good morning everything is fine my name and Daniel I live in Brazil and I bought all this equipment that you made the video plus the mini esc and 20 I did all the procedures but only the rear engine worked perfect when I put the front engine it works alone without messing with the controls is that the receiver is defective, thank you very much
Good evening, Daniel. Front and rear engine? You mean the axles? Too bad that the receiver was defective. Got 10-20 of these and they all work perfect in different cars.
@@NordicRC I did the test on the rear engine and it worked more when I started the front engine it is running alone without me making any commands is the receiver defective?

Hope you use the 30 amp and how much are these little escs and can they be waterproofed?
They can probably be waterproofed with a lot of epoxy.
@@NordicRC what about conformal liquid?
You could try hot glue.
Formal liquid is a silicon liquid that you put on circuit boards and it waterproofs them I hopefully will show that on my channel soon cuz I just got some and I hopefully you will watch and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Can you get a higher melee amp rating with that lipo for that car?
Probably. But don’t know if it would fit. This one fits perfect.
@@NordicRC I think it would be worth a try I'm sure you have that type of motor lying around that 380 RS or the 380s.

Yeah not easy. No mention of which wire off the esc are the battery and which is the engine. My reciever isnt lightinh up but the esc is flashing red. No idea what that means.
