- Sew this Summer Skirt with a Tie Belt with me, Friends! I LOVE the results. It's a pattern hack from the NewLook 6282 in size 12. My inspiration for the skirt comes from the website Casa De Fashion. My fabric choice is 100% cotton double gauze from Fabric Wholesale Direct.
This is the first garment I've sewn for my summer wardrobe this year, and I can't wait to wear it to a family luncheon or out and about. It's so flowy and light, and is the look I'm going for this summer.
This skirt has a double high-slit in front of the skirt. Instead of shirring the waistline, this time, I opted for a simple gathered waistband. The waistband and Tie Belt are DIYed.
