Media's job is to use black people as the boogeyman, so the general public is so in fear, they're willing to fund the police state more and more, creating bigger budgets. most crime in places like LA or Chicago is all being staged, done by law enforcement or is propaganda being pushed by the media. It is.. I started banging in the 80’s, if you think today is bad, you wouldn’t believe how hard it was in those days. I’ve been to over 40 of my homies funerals from 85-2005. Black men got it hard in Los Angeles. Banging or not. Even if you look like you might be something, or was just seen around certain people, that’s good enough for a bullet your way. Even if you ain’t got nothing to do with nothing and not around none of it, you still might catch a stray one. It’s just life in the hood. And if you don’t make enough money to move away, you’re just stuck in it. I love my hood and homies but most of my homies don’t want to live like that. Around that. It’s stressful as hell. Plenty of fun at times being around a bunch of people you grew up with, got love for, got situations with, ride for, struggle with, etc.. but that ain’t no way to live. But it’s reality. And once you in, it’s till death, prison, or moving far away. Hard to stay positive in that environment when so much negativity and cultural and financial obstacles are surrounding you. Hard to find peace.
