    I have built at least 8 or 9 flighttest models, and the best thing about them is they are cheap and pretty durable, so when you crash it doesn't crush your soul. I haven't flown any master series yet but I absolutely love what they are doing over there at flighttest.

      Totally agree! Quite a bit less stress flying these.

      I wasn't into foam board until I built a warbird and it was the best flying experience I've ever had. Flite test has become my favorite kind of planes. 3d printed ones suck when you're noob ;-}>

      @reedinspace2286  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@papamidnightfpv I have to agree. Even for experience flyers, 3D printed planes aren't durable enough. I've done 2 of them and after a few flights, I had enough. Look great but break all the time. Someday we'll get there but not yet...

      @@therc4784 I use the semi-satin. I've done 4 planes so far with good results. I apply a thin coat with a foam brush, let it soak in for about a minute or two and wipe off with a clean rag. Then let the plane dry overnight before painting.

    I just set my A-10 on the grass and throttle up; it's airborne in seconds. I don't find the differential thrust to be very effective, but it's fun to fly in very strong winds because it doesn't have any bad tendencies.

    • @reedinspace2286
      @reedinspace2286  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely agree that it is very stable. I just had to rebuilt the tail section. It was getting warped from being in the car. I'll have it back in the air soon. Thanks for watching!

    I built the original ft a10 and it's much slower and better for an unexpected pilot like myself but this one is looks much nicer it also has better differential thrust because the motors are on the wings and further apart

    Nice model but I just wish the ducted fans didn't whine like they do, I know that's the nature of high speed electric but I can still wish for a more throaty sound. Thanks for sharing.

    • @reedinspace2286
      @reedinspace2286  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with you. I cringe when I hear most pushers. However, this one isn't quite as bad as most of them. Maybe because it is a twin. It gets pretty loud and whiny at full throttle but at less than 75%, it's not bad in my opinion. Plus, this things flies so well it has really become one that I take out almost every time I fly. Take it easy and thanks for watching!

      My first FT speedbuild was a Duster. Easy enough to build, but hard to fly. Then I built the Bloody Baron. It was Bloody wonderful! Easy to handle, durable, quick to turn and my 11-year-old son's favorite plane. I prefer to fly the mini master series now: Hellcat and Zero are amazing, or the Scout which is so well balanced, I can fly it in most any wind.
