Thank you very much for the lessons! You are a great teacher. This is my favorite way of learning kanji. Please upload more 3rd grade kanji lessons. I hope to study with you grade 4, 5, 6 and so on.
So glad I found your channel. Subscribing now. For some reason, your voice sounded like an anime character I can't figure out who, either way it makes it more interesting learning kanji with you. Thanks for the hardwork! 😊
I'm always impressed how many things all sound the same and are only different when you see at least the context, or better yet the kanji. The following 5 words are all pronounced きゅうし (kyuushi): 急死 sudden death 休止 pause, suspension 臼歯 molar tooth 球史 ball history (whatever that is) 九死 9 deaths ..... and there may be more :-) It's funny but also frustrating my perspective to ever learn this language to some degree. I still feel I'm making some progress following these lectures. Following a great teacher like this keeps me from a lot of possible sidetracks. Each new kanji opens a can of worms when you try to find how else it's used. And as a beginner one doesn't have a clue which one's are of importance and which aren't so much.
Oh i know those :D i thought i was barely 2nd grade but yay I already know THIRD grade kanji such as those :) thank you for the awesome videos as usual
At 13:30 (dentist/dentistry), why does the 歯 kanji in 歯科医 use the On reading (shi) while it's the Kun reading (ha) in the previous word (歯医者)? Both are at the start of the word, so how do I know which one to use? Thanks.
Sensei, how do I create my own worksheets like yours? So that I can customise all the Kanji I have not mastered and put them all on a paper. Always appreciate your work ありがとうございました
Thank you for watching and commenting. I just made it by writing in textbook style(教科書体)and copying it and changing its color into light gray. I use Microsoft Word. ありがとうございます。
No. Hajimeru(始める) is a transitive verb, while hajimaru(始まる) is an intransitive verb. Therefore, hajimeru has an object. S=Subject, O=Object S ha(ga) O wo hajimeru(hajimemasu). ※wo(を) is the particle indicating object of the sentence. S ha(ga) hajimaru(hajimarimasu) ※ha(は) is the particle indicating the topic of the sentence, and ga(が) is the particle indicating the subject of the sentence. 試合(しあい)を 始める(shiai wo hajimeru) start a game 私は今から試合を始めます。(Watashi wa imakara shiai wo hajimemasu.) I will start the game from now. 私は9時から勉強を始めます。(Watahi wa kuji kara benkyou wo hajimemasu.) I will start studying from 9. 試合が 始まる(shiai ga hajimaru) A game starts 今から試合が始まります。(Imakara shiai ga hajimarimasu.) The game starts from now. 試合は10時に始まります。(Shiai wa juuji ni hajimarimasu.) The game will starts at 10. Yes, "Hajimemashite(はじめまして)" is the typical greeting phrase, so it is idiomatic and definite, and we don't say "Hajimarimashite". Hajimemashite is usually written in kanji as 初めまして, and 始めまして seems rare. However, 初める is usually not read as "hajimeru" at least independently, but as "someru", so 始めまして may be correct, which I am not sure. Thank you. ありがとうございます(Arigatou gozaimasu)。
This is the best channel to learn kanji. We want more lessons about kanji, please😍😍😊

내가 직접 공책에 쓰면서 공부하는 느낌이 들고, 과외선생님이(a private tutor) 바로 내 옆에서 가르쳐 주는것 같아요.

仕えるは終止だけど使えるだと可能になるって、日本人からしたら割と簡単に読み取れるけど、外国人からしたらとんでもなく難儀だよね。

Sensei, can Hajimeru and Hajimaru be used interchangeably?
We say Hajimemashite not
Hajimamashite
🤔
