Bro Dual Band Router are used when you have high speed Fiber connection. If you are getting 100Mbps on your Speed test over Wifi, then no need to change to Dual Band Router.

Yes chala sakte ho agar usb ka output 12v hai & agar USB output 12v nahi hai to 5v ko 12v mein convert kar sakte ho using StepUp converter. (for 2nd trick we need to check max current consumption of your router)

railwire/railnet is better. I use both of them and railwire is better with speed and service but they are mostly serviceable near the railway line and railway station area.

no, mostly all of the EPON ONU router are single band. If you want good speed and speed according to your subscribed plan via wifi then get a good dual band router from TP-Link or ASUS and use them in bridge mode. If you want to use LAN then use the 2nd LAN Port in your EPON router which is 1Gbit port. The first LAN port in your EPON router is not a 1Gbit port.

Mi router is not a MODEM. There is a difference between Router and Modem. You need Modem to connect to Internet and Router to make Wifi Network. Syrotech is a Gateway (Modem + Router). So go for that. You can also get Mi Router to maybe put it in different corner to extend Wifi. Or maybe what your vendor is giving is "Syrotech ONU Media Convertor" which is just a Modem and you will need a Router to make Wifi. There is a video coming on channel on 6 August 2021 @ 12:00pm which will tell you the difference between Modem and Router. Do watch it.

I got same kinda router with my bsnl connection, one thing I faced in last three days was that at night the los light started blinking red and the connection would cut out, I don't have much work at night so I didn't bother it and let it be, the problem continued three days and it's kinda bothering me, do you know some fix, the light usually starts blinking around 12 in the night and I've checked and verified that it stays like that for 5-6 hours till 7 in the morning. Do you guys have any fix to this or have you ever encountered this kind of problem?
@@TaknikiSamaan Yeah, I registered a complaint with them, I woke up early just to see when does the service continue, apparently it's 7:30 in the morning so I am sure they purposely do it, as soon as the connection came back on I dialed to the customer care no. and told them to fix this issue. They said it would be fixed in 10-12 hours so let's see what happens today but I'm kinda unsure that the service won't go down because its BSNL.

I want to reset my router as I don't know the ID and PW of the Gateway as the guy who installed the fiber connection changed the default user ID and PW without informing me and as you all know "It's BSNL afterall", so the guy is not picking up my call and hence I can't change my wifi password nor see the number of devices connected to it. Personally I don't think this is a problem from Router.
Red light means you are not receiving single from BSNL.

I want to reset my router as I don't know the ID and PW of the Gateway as the guy who installed the fiber connection changed the default user ID and PW without informing me and as you all know "It's BSNL afterall", so the guy is not picking up my call and hence I can't change my wifi password nor see the number of devices connected to it. So can you please make video to reset the router?
