Unfortunately I only got 6 out of 25 correct, I thought the Kolomna trams were in Saint Petersburg in Russia, I got the country correct but not the town. The same happend with the first one, I thought it was Washington DC, and by the way, I did actually get the one which was in Washington DC correct. I may not have guessed a lot of the tram networks correctly, but I still enjoyed the video. It was lovely seeing trams from around the world because I love trams.

Consider me a tram rookie. I had about four good guesses out of the twenty-five footage clips. I was close enough with clips out of Washington State, Japan, China, and Lisbon, Portugal.
Yeah, this was a challenging quiz, especially for someone who doesn’t get around much. Here’s hoping that changes in a post-pandemic society! (-:

For me as well. Im not too familiar with light rail/trams around the world and certainly didn't recognize the livery/colors. I guessed a few of them right in terms of the country just from the surroundings and advertisements, Architecture, and the writing.

I live in Edinburgh so I recognised the Edinburgh trams. I also recognised Hong Kong because I've been there and recognised the octopus symbol. I got Nagasaki because I've also been there and ridden those. I didn't recognise Osaka even though I'd been there. Cologne was a giveaway because Köln was on one of the signs.

3:39 That Tram is totally same (featuring sounds Of motor and the interior) to the classic 3800 tram of Valencia (Spain) (still in service)! The 3800 are my favorites of the Valencian tram, because the new Bombardier Flexity (listed as 4200) I do not like very much ...
PS: I hope that one day you can come here to Valencia and record the tram and the metro (although it is more of a network of commuter trains, because most of the stations and routes are on the surface, it is only underground in the city center, the port and airport area and some suburban city that complained of the noise of the train when passing the steps to level (despite the network being older than the neighbors) and having buried the subway so that it stops through the subway, in fact, the only line that is entirely underground is line 5, which goes from the Maritim-Serreria neighborhood (a port, to continue to the port you have to change to tram line 8, a connection that is made on the next rail, which uses the famous Barcelona solution, it is a direct connection)
    Greetings from Valencia (Spain) 😉🇪🇦

I got 7 this time, plus the countries for perhaps 10 more. Many of the systems were newer than my visit to those cities, and many had been modernised. I got Hong Kong (Tuen Mun) and Sofia in seconds, and Dubai in the last second. Interestingly, I have been on some systems (and countries) which haven't featured yet, but perhaps part 3 is on the way?

  • @murphyjenkins5042

Yes this was good. As a tram/light rail enthusiast of some 70+ years I won't say my score - it was terrible. What I will say though is WELL DONE, - you have started, (perhaps), a new trend on YT of something called QUIZES and why not, it would certainly brighten the 'doom and gloom' that 'Covid' has caused. I for one would look forward to any, - on ANY SUBJECT.

    My guesses:
    1. Tacoma, the destination sign gave it away
    2. Looks Japanese, not good with their tram systems. (Nope, Hong Kong!)
    3. Little Rock
    4. Seems European, Berlin? (Nope, Cologne, but I was right about it being German)
    5. English speaking country, not North American, Edinburgh? Nevermind, it's Melbourne, I saw it on the advertisement. (Wrong, Sydney! Man, I really thought it was Melbourne b/c of that advert)
    6. Lille, said so on the vehicle.
    7. Seems European, but otherwise no clue. (The answer was Lisbon)
    8. Looks Japanese again, but I don't know my Japanese cities well enough to identify the system. (Turned out to be Nagasaki)
    9. Polish? Let's go with Warsaw, why not. (Nope, not at all. Stockholm)
    10. Something in Europe, no clue. (Nope, Morocco, not even Europe!)
    11. Looks like the UK? Let's try Edinburgh. (Hell yeah, got it right!)
    12. Well we got Nagasaki earlier, so let's try Hiroshima.(Nope, Osaka)
    13. Let's try Warsaw again. (Nope, Bratislava, never even heard of that place)
    14. Charlotte.
    15. Moscow? (Yay!)
    16. It kinda looks like it says Amsterdam on the back of the tram, so lets go with that. (Wrong. Potsdam, another city I've never heard of)
    17. D.C. I've seen this one in person before!
    18. Looks cold, Helsinki? (Nope, Oslo)
    19. I am once again going for Warsaw. I will probably once again be wrong. (Nope, Antwerp)
    20. German? Let's go for Berlin. (Nope, The Hauge, another city I've never heard of)
    21. Atlanta. The Marta sign gave it away.
    22. IDK, let's try Warsaw again. (Nope, Sofia)
    23. Dubai.
    24. I don't think it's Warsaw, but if I guess another city and it turns out it was actually Warsaw, I'd be devastated, so let's go Warsaw. (Another new city for me, Kolomna)
    25. Christchurch? (Correct!)

    • @marcvanderwee
