    Weldon Myrick now knows from Heaven that he was one of my favorite steel players. He's probably the only soul that can make an angel cry. Loved it when he accompanied Connie Smith in "Once A Day". That steel on those strings made me happy and sad at the same time!! How'd he do that???

    Him, Leon Rhodes, Harold Weakly, Jimmie Capps, Jerry Whitehurst, Jow Edwards...When they was The Grand Ole Opry band in my opinion was one of the greatest ever in country music.

    I have heard this song by many artists, not by him, or this instrumental version, and I love it. Going to my favorites.. A great song. Thanks for sharing. Gwen

    I think he owns a apology to you, he should be more respectful to reply and not call names but say he father is not dead...i don't think his dad would apppove of the way he did it...i'm sorry and glad you are here to listen to Weldon music
