you can watch the play for free at the national theatre archive! If you were willing to go to London to do so...
I'm surprised she does not mention her directorial decision to include the murder of Woman by Tinker after they make love (which is not scripted in the original play by Kane). Also the final scene, in which Carl is restrained to the clear box Woman was once in, (also not scripted). I feel they were both effective but want to know why she chose to add these two very distinct scenes in a play already filled with horror?
Maybe to make it realistic. If you want to show horror, go all the way?
