"My eyes don't lie"....greatest line in this song for me. Glad you mentioned that trailing off by Saiki, hadn't noticed that before....thanks!
    Akane is a best here.....

Great reaction and yes Shambles is the 2rd season closing song for a Netflix anime series "Kengan Ashura", a brutal fight anime, starting on Sept. 21st. As for the anime, it's a fight anime, so if you like that type it's not that bad.

Used as a closing theme for an anime shown on Netflix. It was a really odd story about big companies gaining profits by having fighters battle it out in an arena. The story behind the fighters and the eventual scheming behind the scenes. Not sure I would have stuck with it but for waiting for the closing theme in the second season for Band Maid. But fun and violent.

Band-Maid is all about the gap between your expectations and what they actually deliver, which is far beyond what you imagine. When you see 5 ladies wearing frilly, lacey maid costumes you just do not expect them to produce THAT SOUND! Their compositions are sophisticated and the musicianship of every member is virtuoso level. Band-Maid produces music that stays in your head and makes you think, "This is my favorite song!" every time you hear another Band-Maid song. Reactors often comment, "There's a lot going on here!" because there is a lot going on.
I recommend that everyone visit Band-Maid's TH-cam channel and start listening to songs at random, none of their songs disappoint.

If you haven't heard it on your own yet go back and play their most recent instrumental, "From Now On". Absolute tour de force. Glad to see you back.

"like a fierce tiger" - Saiki's favorite baseball team is the Hanshin Tigers, who broke the curse and won the Japan Series this year for the first time since Colonel Sanders was thrown into the Dōtonbori Canal. Did that line help? Not sayin' it didn't ...

The breath that Saiki did in the end was by accident but is mentioned a lot in reactions.

Yes, but the band and management said to leave it in so she now does it at the live shows.

@@ericifune5543 Yep. Band Maid is so talented that their unplanned actions are brilliant.

The lyrics actually don’t reference characters in the show. It’s a deep cut for fans. There was a show where Miku asked what Saiki thought about it, and she said “Saikou” (the best), and Miku kind of absentmindedly said “Sai and kou”, and Saiki started making fun of her for it, acting like it was popular slang among young people in Japan.
So, “Sai and kyo” here is a play on that, where saikyo(u) means “strongest”.

The song just proves Akane is the best drummer ever
