Abstract:
Law is often treated as an autonomous, self contained domain, and the rule of law a self evidently desirable attribute of a good society. This lecture examines some special challenges that the idea of the rule of poses in a developing country.

We need political reservations for the minorities, but present system of reservation does more harm than good. Will not the proportional representation system give better answer to that need for representation?
