@@SEGAGuys it’s all good. I didn’t come here for that lol. I was just excited to see it spread. Much appreciated though! Keep on spreading the Sega love
If there's one aspect of Crazy Taxi that was sorely missing was the lack of a first-person perspective. Other than that, admittedly, I'm more excited for the remake of the first game than the multiplayer aspect. Plus, it would be really nice to see more outlandish levels to race around, pick up fares, or create your own driver, car, etc. So happy to finally see the series make a return for modern consoles!!
I am beyond excited for this game. Generally, I do not like most of the mdoern-day massively multiplayer game, but I have been wanting a massively multiplayer Crazy Taxi game for a long long time.
Ah okay, I thought I heard that the multi-million dollar super game or whatever was going to be based on Virtua Fighter; but that didn't make much sense to me an open world Crazy Taxi makes much more sense
Some good thoughts, looking back at the new era trailer and showing it next to the new info we had. As much as I love the original CT, I'm happy for a new one to try something new. We are NEVER going to capture the same magic as the original, so trying something new is a more likely option to do well. Plus it'll be great to tear up the streets with other people!
I'm all in. For me... I mean what's to complain about? I'm just happy that Sega came out of the shadows and is finally giving their loyal players/fans of old something new!!
It does sound like the natural progression, I just hope the game can be enjoyed when not playing with others because eventually the servers will be shut down.
I'm liking what I'm seeing from the new crazy taxi! I'm thinking that sega is gonna take a lot of influence from the open world nature and variety of activities from the like a dragon series. Which would be pretty amazing if Sega brings that feeling into the crazy taxi world.
I like the idea of a decent round of Crazy Taxi with a multiplayer aspect (and the bigger the world, the better potential for optimal gameplay), but the addition of story might be a bit much (even as a tactic to expand the AAA feel of the new Crazy Taxi itself). Even then, I’m always up for some decent arcade style multiplayer Crazy Taxi action! So if they nail the Multiplayer aspect in a great way, I’d say I’ll be happy with it… 😇 - Takeshi “Mr. Jiswa” Kinniku
The multiplayer aspect don´t sit well with me. Crazy Taxi 1 - 3 were all single player, arcade games which still are fun to play but this is just a head scratcher for me.
Even if it is just Forza ghosting and you're just chasing for the high score in a session would be cool, I think there's a lot of potential if they get it right. Big if though...
Plz no more open world multi player games. Who wants them. Who wants a game who cant be played a few years later when the servers are shot down. Just want a new score attack game with flashy graphics. Sega just, dont.
I love Crazy Taxi but the downside to it was always starting from scratch after game over. Maybe this version will work more like the challenges in Burnout Paradise or races in GTA. You can chill between sessions, driving around and enjoying the vibe then start a challenge wherever a passenger is.
To be fair, perhaps expecting an exact duplicate of old Crazy Taxi was wishful thinking anyway. But those buzzwords do scare me slightly. I'd be all-in on a remake however!
Call me cynical, but it sounds to me like Crazy Taxi meets Fortnite - a pretty basic game with an absolute ton of costumes, cars, paintjobs and accessories to buy in game.
Eh, I don't mind the existence of multiplayer mode but I'm not going to buy it without an offline single player mode.
Oh shit, that clip of the real life car was recorded by me. Small world
Hey mate, I’ve added a credit and link to your X and Twitch bios in the video description. Sorry this wasn’t done sooner.

>open-world Crazy Taxi
>we're finally going to be playing through the Californication music video
My whole life has led up to this.
I'm still trying to imagine how this will work as an open world online game. I could imagine, at best, a series of multi-player mini games.
It will be like when burnout went open world. It will kill the formula
I'm thinking like, Crazy Taxi 99. You just have a shit ton of cabs competing with each other for passengers and fare.
@@lucanos34 but crazy taxi has always been open world dummy

I still cant believe were really getting a new Crazy Taxi, its electric!!!
Ok but the aoundtrack MUST be incredible. The og soundtrack matched that crazy (pun intended) energy.
I demand Californication this time haha

wow crossing games onto the same server is genius
Multiplayer is not the way to bring this back. Just keep it as it was, and remaster it.
Did you watch the video before July commented?

I hope that you can play a one player game as well in crazy Taxi just not only online game.
I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Golden Axe!
CrAZY...thats all i gota say...crazy

The multiplayer/ live service aspect does have me worried, but I'm interested to see how it turns out. Can't say if I'd definitely buy it though
Didn’t Crazy Taxi 1, 2 and 3 have an open world within the game?
All the maps were essentially open world
I know but also I remember that Crazy Taxi had a version called Fare Wars.
Wait whaattt? There was a multiplayer mode on PSP??
How have I never been aware of this!? lol
Yep, it's pretty cool, you can steal pick ups and see eachothers scores

I mean I wasn't expecting it to be multiplayer but then I wasn't expecting more from Crazy Taxi. I say give it a chance.
I'm on the fence with this one. It's a wait and see for me. Due to the online service aspect. Hoping for the best

*HEY HEY HEY,* it's time to make some _cuh-RAYzee_ money, are ya ready? _Here, we, _*_GO!_*
A GTA style open world, share pool of jobs in multiplayer but probably with Forza style ghosting..... that could work.
Even if it is just Forza ghosting and you're just chasing for the high score in a session would be cool, I think there's a lot of potential if they get it right.
Big if though...
Any news on this?
Let's go! New sub here!! 😎
Welcome! Hope you enjoy the channel!
That trailer we saw wasnt even the game 😑. They hadnt even started

If it's multiplayer online only it s dead from the start

Im excited for this
I just have one question: Are we getting the Offspring? If so, I’m in. If not, pass.
Boooo! Open world is so boring
