He's like b tier, high potential for damage but you can duck many of his strings and his mid launch is slower compared to other characters in the game. He's definitely not as bad as he used to be in mk11 but definitely not the best.
As a Skorpion main, this is actually inspirational. The lack of mix ups for him is insane but this player had even sonic fox guessing at times with a cameo I'd never think to use. Nice job on both sides...2 great players

Wow Baraka actually looks like a rushdown character in this one. The insane chip damage is a nice touch--adds to the "keep this fuck away from me" feeling that an opponent should feel against rushdown.

Crazy Scorpion skin and play. But man i used to feel bad watching people deal with JC rushdowns last week, but its nothing compared to Baraka, who on top of the non stop aggression, can pull out 50% combos.
I don't see the problem.It's honestly no different from how zoners in MK11 were able to knock your health down with fans, boomerangs, and gunshots from a distance, as you're fighting to get in.
Those mix from Arvik with the kameo were crazy, as were the whiff punishes Sonic did in beggining, Arvik started reacting to it, then things got crazy with the backdashes of both sides, so many whiff punishes. Still, Baraka does some really high damage with Cyrax, 50% at almost every round. Well, Scorpion did some high damage too, many combos reaching 40% with Kameo and bars, he is not as bad as some people think.
Watching this video I became more interested in training with Scorpion than with Baraka. I know that Baraka will be nerfed, I don't think it will last more than 1 month.

I love fox so this isn’t a bash against him, but the cyrax chip with Baraka chip damage string almost does an entire throws worth of damage. Definitely getting touched soon
After watching these EPIC matches, I've learned one key thing. Staying aggressive ultimately wins the match. That why SonicFox is so good. They're always looking for an opening, granting the opponent will slip up eventually due to....Aggression.

hell nah. this is only works with characters like baraka. you try that with any character thats not as fast and/or powerful its over for you against anyone with skill
They could have at least made that 50% combo a little bit tougher to pull off, but you don't need to even dash or get precise positioning. Its probably the easiest combo in the game right now
Liu Kang can pull off a 55% just by punk kick punch kick kick kick dragon kick dragon kick kick dragon upper cut Baraka 50% is harder than other characters 50%

They need to give my main scorpion an overhead & a good mid starter! Damn they already made his regular teleport trash, it’s only good in the air for combos. I think the only good thing they did with him was make his spear a stun again. But MK11 scorpion had all the great strings. & they could be hit confirmed or teleport canceled to stay safe. Yes he has good damage but that’s IF You can open an opponent up. Which is hard against a great opponent like sonic. He only gets rewarded for Whif punishing. Man they need to fix Scorpion

It's not a fair match up honestly. Baraka and Kenshi are like three levels ahead of the rest of the roster it's actually crazy. Hopefully the nerf them or buff the rest of the roster. When you who's one of if not the best MK player in the world plays with these two nothing can compete with them
People are always quick to react with these nerf suggestions, prematurely in my opinion. Both characters are pretty strong, but I've already seen Kenshi weaknesses outside of activating the spirit.
