It is actually much bigger now. I'll post another update when it's "finished".
Completely locked to speed 1 now, speed 3 is dead lol, cpu is maxed and GPU usage is down to like 30%. City takes 15-30 minutes to load and I'm still having a blast haha.
But the factory... Err... City must grow!
Also to make it more authentic. The churches must be always placed with the Altar to the East it s always a rule

One development of the Middle Ages that is not talked about much is the abandonment of village and town walls. Cities of course became more fortified than ever before, but villages and small towns were generally unwalled - my guess is that this represents the massive reduction in small scale warring and feuding.
When you are become more scared of your Lord's Earl and Duke tier neighbors than your own local baronial ones then this makes perfect sense.

How to claim lands by kings favor ? 🙌 anyone knows?
Maybe a silly question, but can you eventually build a castle or a strong hold in this game? Or maybe wall in part of the city to make people safe when there is battle? Also, can you siege cities (maybe later in the game)? Or do you just have battles in the fields like I saw in other videos?
1st Q: Not YET. (WIP) You can build a Manor House with walls and watch towers with retinue. Wooden Castle (a Manor) not a Stone Castle. It's the tall structure in the video that looks like the church.
2nd: Field battles. Future unknown.

@@luangu It's not really one guy. There is only 1 lead dev who "owns" the game, but he has several programmers and 3d artists he does contracting with. The 1 man dev team thing is pure marketing.

just have people planting new ones in the area where you are chopping, with 2 workshops is more then enough
Yeah the planters take years to start showing their effects but 2 or 3 can eventually overpower even the 4 woodcutters and 4 charcoal burners the center part has

The people won't cross the borders to work but the buildings don't seem to care about border lines at all which was super nice.

No sheep I think. There's 30 total sheep in 1 pasture here. My city with 3000 sheep had all the ai humans standing around staring in the same direction.

Impressive, but also shows the biggest issue of the games current state: Content ... I´ve played for only 5 hours and it feels like I´ve already seen and done everything possible. Why should i build a big "city" when it all looks the same? Game has potential, but i wouldnt recommend it in its current state
I don't have militia every single time the enemy propose a war :'( Can you give me an advice? If I have militia it's only 10-20 but the enemy's militia is around 100
iron mine > bloomery > blacksmith(lvl2 house needed) > make POLEARMS, (otherwise you need spears and shields)> you need the the weapons to make militia and polarms are the cheapest and strongest at the start.
1. Build a Manor ASAP
2. Tax people with it for income to hire mercs
3. You get 5 free Retinue from Manor once built
4. Upgrade house to level 2 and start producing Warbows for Archers
You can hire mercenaries for the early game. Late game every province can have a manor that holds 24 retinue men. So you have a bunch of extra squads in every province.

Since you've connected those regions seamlessly, do the workers go to the other regions to work on something?
I've never really tried it, but I'm guessing it's not? Since it's a town-per-region basis. Although, there are "hidden" things over there, like using trading post to trade within the map, from region to the other, so I can't really be sure about that.
Trade post and the transporter guy work. The others won't even cross the border to put out a fire haha
1600 pop on my town and the game crashes 5 min after loading consistenly everytime 100% no matter what.
This looks like a modern rural area, so you missed the point in my opinion

Not sure how your city is even operating. The market stall radius sucks and even if i place them around i cant keep them supplied
It's usually brainded AI that got stuck on some task and it creates bottlenecks bc neither houses nor buildings are ressuplied as fifteen people with carts cram around a malt shop or whatever. In mid game it really helps to move and destroy buildings, reasign families etc and it usually fixes a shitload of stuff for me.

you build medieval villages like American towns lol. trying to do it in a European way, because it doesn't look very good. it is symmetrical and parallel. no medieval village is symmetrical and parallel.
