Woops forgot to mention in the video, in the past after getting serviced at Lexus, about 1000 miles later the car alerted me of having low oil. I alerted lexus and topped the car back off with oil. Then 2000 miles later it once again alerted me of low oil yet again! This is the reason why I added the Oil Catch can. Lexus corporate knew that I added it to try and combat the oil consumption issue. We are thinking this could have been a sign that the engine was already damaged.
Would like to ask what part number is that 500H read diff assembly. I've checked the parts list on Amayama and only the 2UR(2.97 final drive) variant comes with the LSD and the 500h(3.3 final drive) only has normal or rear steer variant part number, no 'LSD' designation for the 500h.....much appreciated.
@@lancewood1410 41110-11050 is the part number with the LSD that we have all been swapping on the forums. Heres the forum thread if you want to read up more on it! www.clublexus.com/forums/lc-model-2018-present/925959-replacing-lc500-torsen-diff-with-lc500h-one.html#post10607631
@@lancewood1410 also I will be releasing a full comparison video between the 2 diffs. I should be getting the car back today. I think there may be a break in period so maybe in another week i’ll drop the video

@@canoeshoe we suspect previous damage maybe from previous owner and car went super lean for whatever reason. Thankfully all under warranty without any hassle.

Wow, so you basically got a "new" car out of this.. I'm guessing the damage was a blessing in disguise?
@@DustinLee-lx1wu thats exactly how I saw it too haha. Couldn’t be any luckier!
Where’d you get the hybrid diff? How much?

Sad you had to replaced the engine. No more matching numbers.
Where did you get the paddle shifters and shift knob?
