I have them on my portfolio and resume. Similar to the second one you chose in that it's monochromatic and low-contrast. On the portfolio, full background but content has an additional bg behind it for contrast. On the resume, it's used as a sidebar and quite transparent. It's also on my business cards and letterhead, so yay branding. I'm changing the design of the resume/portfolio and trying to find ways to keep using it.
Loving the uploads lately. Been watching your content since one about SVG line animation when I was in University 7 years ago! My degree wasn't even in design or development, yet I'm a lead front end developer at a design agency and I call myself "self taught", but what I mean by that is "Gary Simon taught me" 😆 Thanks man! If I'm brave enough I'll submit something for review in the near future!
Looks really useful, thx for the tip! also did free JS/HTML/CSS courses in Scrimba, will take the "from Figma to code" course soon, really useful after an UI/UX design course.
This was a really nice tip. However I am wondering if DesignCourse has any videos about more advanced UI/UX design in the realm of desktop/app design. Anyone know?
Who here still utilizes patterns? I do, I likey from time to time. In fact, there will be some patterns on the upcoming designcourse.com

This is awesome sir. If possible from now share these kind of tutorials in which after designing also implement html css.
This kind of videos are amazing and really helpful! keep going :D
At 5:00 I thought the webpage was no longer square. Trippy!
May be use pattern for watermark and on top of this use a transparent rectangle is good approach.

11:51 Hi can anyone explain how did adding height;100vh fix the repeatability issue of the SVG in CSS.
I like your channel so I've decided to bombard it with comments.
all time sponsor: Scrimba :)
That was cool!

Love the videos! Do you think you will ever do more videos in the future focused on design using the Angular Framework?
Unfortunately, my Angular days are long gone! No particular reason though. Just focusing more on UI/UX
You can easily use repeating svg.
Rock it !
