Hi Olav, I’m always grateful for your response, thank you. It is indeed an interesting instrumental, however it was nothing to do with the Shadows. It was originally written and produced by Martin Cilla and the Atlantic’s in 1999. What I like about it, is the fact that it contains many of the Shadow’s rifts and reminds me of many other Shadows instrumentals. A great number which I thoroughly enjoyed playing. The Burns is still the favourite with me for obvious reasons. ( sorry if you get fed up with hearing it ) Have a good rest of the week, very grey days here at the Sanctuary and very Autumnal. ( as I need all the help going at the moment ) it’s living the Dream playing the Dream…… So enjoyable I can’t begin to tell you ………. Glad you enjoyed this one, it was one I’ve had for nearly two years, I can remember sending for around 40 BT’s from R.P as they were on offer at the time of buy one and get one free. I’ve still got half a dozen still to do. I love his BT’s but they have gone a touch pricey at the moment. ( I will wait for another deal off him before I send for anymore.) Well Al, I need to get on with the weekend’s instrumental and at the moment I’m a little undecided……… ( it being remembrance weekend an all ) I have one or two idea’s but nothing deffo as yet……….we will see what the Dream can produce. Morning Krishna, first of all many thanks for your comments on my latest arrangement of ‘ In the Shadows’. First of all I must apologise for one or two mistakes which I made in the write up on my page, stating I was using a fender telecaster guitar for this arrangement and for any misleading facts on the ‘ Original ‘ artist of the said piece. So, firstly, I was not using a Fender Tele as stated but my new - acquisition a Burns ‘Dream‘ guitar out for the second time. The original artist of this instrumental was Martin Cilla and the Atlantic’s and ‘NOT’ Roger Paulsson as could have been mistakenly construed, it was however RP’s BT which I used in my arrangement. All that aside and to continue with the main subject matter …………. A great instrumental and one I have been sitting on for some time now, I enjoy learning new instrumentals and this was no exception , a great Instrumental with shades of the Shadows all over the place within the. Hi Jon, Thank you for your good wishes and for your good comments on my latest arrangement ‘In the Shadows ‘, since which Posting I have found out a lot more about the artist who actually recorded this track………. It was in fact recorded in 1999 by a group called Martin Cilia and the Atlantic’s, who apparently was a big Shadow’s fan and a lot of his early work was very much coloured in the shadows style. Martin Cilia has gone on to record quite a lot of material in the style of the Shadow’’s, which I’m very impressed with. You say you use Guitar Rig but it distorts ? Strange as I’ve never had a problem with my program and have always been very pleased with it. In fact, I use it all the time and cannot recommend it enough, it gives me many various styles and sounds which are always a bonus to my recodings. I couldn’t achieve a lot of my sounds without this program. Just a thought…………..do you use an interface into your laptop / computer ? or are your instruments plugged straight into your computer ? or thinking about it, maybe you use a microphone to record into your laptop / computer ? Your problem could be, down to how you transfer from instrument to computer.. ……… just a thought. I absolutely love my new acquisition ( my new Burns ‘Dream ‘ guitar ) and find that I am getting an even better sound quality from it. I am finding it very difficult to put it down at the moment and I am very grateful to own it. From a grey week weather wise ………Best wishes from the Guitar Sanctuary..............♥️ Ian 🎸

Super cover Ian , from RP vast library , I love his BTs but they are getting a bit expensive and no free tabs. I've heard this one before , you have done a great version on the Burns Dream👍👍11 , its a beauty , I don't think I will ever own one unless I win the Lotto 😊. Hi Dave, never say never, I didn’t think I would ever own one but …………… Determination, and a massive equipment cull had a lot to do with achieving my dream. I will never regret this buy, it’s the most gorgeous instrument I have ever had the privilege of playing. I am now Living the Dream with a ‘Dream’. Hoping I can give people pleasure listening to it. This track reminded me of so many other Shadows instrumental’s all wrapped up in the one tune. A great instrumental to play and I’m so pleased you enjoyed it too.
