Ooooooh, I forgot about the dish soap 😅 Thanks! 😊
I also had to help them get the air out of their lil domes and now they're swimming around just fine! 😂
Wdym by air there domes out? Was it a joke or isn’t something I need to do?
This dude is funny af 😂
Thank you! One more drop of soap plus stirring the shit out of it helped lol
sometimes a drop is all it takes
It seems motor not working what to do, kust newly brought
This guy is hilarious talking through this video😂😂😂
haha :)
Your video was SUPER helpful:) Thank you!
Welcome. enjoy the fish
I got 2 from shein and all they’re doing is floating on the top…..
I added a bit much soap to my lamp so I emptied out half and added more water now my one jelly fish works great the other one like to sink to the bottom kinda frustrating so I took one out and we will see if he works again
The best is start over, I have a video on this channel and pinned to this video that shows step by step guides how to make a tank from scratch that works the moment you flick the switch... and keeps working for months on end.
Hopefully you'll respond to my comment, but i got mine today but i see everyones jellyfishes is just floating or stuck on the bottom, meanwhile it looks like my fan at the bottom is on full blast and FORCES the jellyfishes to be at the top, causing it to look all messed up and bumps into each other. I dont know if its a technical problem or something but is there something i can do about it?
Well I had filmed a new tutorial, how to do it properly from the beginning. I haven’t edited.. lots of turmoil in my life for 2 months.. a face to face with a 700 lbs black bear in my parents driveway, then weeks later a trip to ER for a painful improptu minor surgery.., and finally today I am missing 3 credit cards, my healthcare card and more..
… but I ALWAYS bounce back. To answer your question question before I upload the new vid: wash your tank out thoroughly AND the fishies. completely…
boil a big pot of water. let cool. take 2 bb sized drops of dish soap and coat each fish. 2 drops each. roll them around till they have a thin coating.
now, the crucial step is putting only ONE bb sized glob in the water. no more. no less. Toss the suckers in gently, give a press down into the water. turn it on. if you followed all that.., they start dancing quickly on their own. -J
I uploaded the new video.
One of my jellyfish works perfectly. One of them won’t come off the bottom. They both worked for like 2 days but now one jellyfish just wont move from the bottom 😭
1. Empty tank and clean thoroughly of any last bit of dish soap residue 2. rinse jelly fish to
make sure any last bit of dish soap is gone 3. boil a big pot of water. 4. let sit to cool 5. using a tiny drop, coat each jelly fish in dish soap 6. pour cooled water to correct level 7. put a drop of dish soap in the size of a ball of pepper (important) ….(cont)
9 .turn on the unit 10. take a CLEAN pen or paintbrush… and gently guide both of the jellyfish down to the middle of the tank into the jet stream bubbles. this might take a few tries… OR they could just start moving automatically when you turn in on…(cont)
11. return lid to tank 12. enjoy…
useful reminder: jellyfish at bottom = water is toothick, jellyfish at top = water too thin,..more dish soap = thicker water. its a balance. in the method above remember to only gently coat the each jellyfish with a tiny drop each, and a tiny drop (not glob).. im talking bb from a bb rifle small.
if you don’t buy distilled water or boil it first you will have a murky tank that has a bad consistency
.. ill make a new and improved jelly fish vid with my newer, bigger tank and ill be sober next time-LOL
The new tutorial was uploaded
I tried the soap trick too, but nothing seems to work. I bought the largest LED aquarium lamp and it worked beautifully for two months. I loved it. It was spectacular looking. Month three one jellyfish stayed at the bottom as you just described. The soap trick seems to work for a minute or two but then they sink to the bottom again, besides, I don't like the cloudy look. Amazon quit selling the large aquariums like one I have. To buy replacement Jellyfish it's turned in highway robbery by the manufacturer. They want $20.00 for shipping on top of the $22 jellyfish. The manufacturer doesn't communicate but claims to have a two year warranty. It's very frustrating....sigh....
Did you ever have the fan and light go slow, to dim, to stop? Mine did after the first month.
this model eventually would only show 1-2 colors. I upgraded to the bigger cylinder-shaped one.
Thanks bro
Mine is moving very fast. I would like them to move slower like the ones in your video any idea why they move so fast?
I’m going to assume your model is designed with a more powerful jet… However.. try adding more dish soap one at a time and stirring and experimenting.. check the pin post here for the link to get them running from scratch.. worth a shot
It worked for me
yayyyy
Any way to keep the water clear?
Yes… use distilled (still good/distillled) or boil your tap water first.
If ur fridge has a filter it's ok to use that
I bought online jet stream not working any way to make it work
try cleaning your power cable end (the one that goes into the tank).. or jiggle it around... if not send it back.
how do i stop my jellyfish from getting stuck in tje fan?
Never had it happen… but sounds like your water is too thick and they are staying at the bottom too long. Remake your tank with clean distilled water and one BB sized glob of dish soap.

2 of mine are stuck on the bottom

There is a much better and efficent way to do this, video upcoming some day.
Can you give me a hint?
@@andrewhensel1657use distilled or boiled water and 1 bb sized glob into tank.. lightly coat each jelly fish in a few small drops of dish soap.
@@andrewhensel1657I uploaded the new video.
I finally threw mine in garbage! Tried everything even watching your video, nothing!!
there is a better method. use distilled water and 1 normal drop; poke them down to the bottom to start with. the distilled water part is important
Yeah, well my mother spent $30 bucks on it. I'll have to add more soap and try that. If that don't work I'll do the distilled water. I put like 3 drops of dawn soap and mixed it.
My jellyfish just stay at the top and it's depressing to watch. I guess it's like a lava lamp. You gotta add the right amount to get things moving.
@@Rosie_Rosebud Im going to help you, mam. I’m posting the new and improved video this weekend.
