LAMY making it possible to change the nib is what makes me gravitate towards them and ofcourse that these are smooth writers even the safari with steel nib particularly the broad ones are awesome. Love the background I watch the video twice for I keep focusing on the myriad of ink bottles
Thanks! Does anyone know if Lamy makes steel nibs which fit the Lamy 2000? Would love a regular writer/workhorse, which the Lamy 2000 certainly qualifies, but having an expensive gold nib just makes me so much more afraid to lug it around (plus, Lamy's steel nibs are plenty smooth).
Why are Lamy 2000 nibs hard to find? I know your site says Lamy doesn't make nibs without a pen anymore for the 2000. Why have they done this when they make replacement nibs for all the other models?

What nib did you use for a replacement? I can only find nibs that specifically say they are for the Lamy 2000 that cost $100 or more.

We usually keep spare Lamy nibs on the site but many things were hard to find in 2020-21
