The cost of car ownership overall is too high and it's a huge reason why I sold my car and bought an e-bike and now just take the bus/train. It's been less stressful and financially better not gonna lie. Hope you get through it bro!
I don't blame you. My now 22 yr 2001 suzuki grand vitara XL7, yes I still have it, I put in a lot of maintenance into over the years, but I will say not ready for a new car payment, so I'm blessed.

Sorry to hear you're having car issues. I can certainly relate! I've faced significant challenges due to car troubles with my 2011 Honda CR-Z. The car had a parasitic drain issue that caused the battery to die intermittently. One day the car would start without any problems, and the next, it wouldn't start at all. Honda initially blamed the third-party radio, so I had it removed, but the issue persisted. Another mechanic suggested getting a new battery, but that didn't solve the problem either. After exhausting all options, I finally decided to sell the car to Carvana, even though it was great when it actually started.
