As far as winter storms, I’m ok with taking it all at once, and then warming up!

Thank you and have a great day weather on the go. 😀

Good afternoon, Hunter! Thanks for your winter 2024-2025 weather forecast. I really appreciate it. I will be going back and listening to this winter update more as winter gets closer. Thanks Hunter for another job well done as always
We're definitely overdue for a winter with big snow events. The last several winters the main storm track seemed to go through the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes which means little or no snow for the East Coast. When a storm did have a favorable track up the coast there was no cold air in place. Things do have a way of eventually balancing out so we'll see what happens this winter.
It has not been a hot summer for Texas. Summers are always hot, but we have only had a couple days over 100 in Austin, compared to last year where we had 70-80 days.
We'll be in a weak La Nina for the first time in a while. That means colder and snowier weather can be expected in Ohio this Winter season. With that said, I also expect warmer temperatures that may melt snow and cause more rain/ice early in the Winter, and then again later in the Winter.
Plant a garden . Reynoldsburg Ohio still growing harvesting tomatoes herbs really thinking about planting seeds now for nov. harvest . I know not the norm but cold crops would still fare well.

A weak La Nina would favor above-normal temperatures and dry conditions this Winter across North Texas. With that said, there will certainly be times of cooler temperatures and there will be periods of precipitation. But overall, I'm expecting a warmer and drier Winter across North Texas this year.

We here in the northeastern US and particular the NYC metro-area are SO overdue for a cold, snowy winter this year. The last 3 straight winters now have been very mild with very little snow. We had like 3 inches of snow in all of 2022-23 and like 7 inches of snow for all of 2023-24 so even if we have the average (25 inches of snow), this winter (of 2024-25), it would be MUCH snowier this winter than we had here in the past few winters COMBINED.
I'll take average for NJ, whatever that is anymore. A couple of snows. I miss the big snowstorms, but I know they will be back, but we've been starved of snow.
Remember Christmas in 2009? That was my father's last Christmas with us. He passed away in January 2010. I had hoped for many years that he would have at least one White Christmas while he was still with us. About 5 days before Christmas in 2009, a massive snowstorm dumped nearly 2 feet of snow across the state, much of which remained through Christmas Day. I am forever thankful to our Heavenly Father for that special Christmas gift, especially for all NJ residents who got a very rare White Christmas.
C Oregon loves snow - the high desert needs the water after all the fires 5his summer! Send us a lot of rain this fall! We are having end of summer temps 90, but hoping our temps cool soon - we are smoke weary! TY Hunter!
Sounds about right for us in Albuquerque New Mexico. We had a very HOT Summer. We did have some good Monsoon Rains but we've been in a dry spell for over 1 month now! I expect much of our current conditions (dry) to linger on into the 2024-2025 Winter Season, unfortunately...
I just subscribed to your channel. I like how you reported the weather for the upcoming winter season. I understand that there will always be changes. I have confidence that you will keep us up to date and well informed. Thank you.
Worry about snow? We learned to love snow by dressing right and good snow equipment. For the last couple of years no sleigh rides, no ice sculptures, no snow mobiling, no ice fishing, no snow men, no sledding, no nothing. We want snow. It's the Water Winter state. Don't worry dress warm and have a snow ball.
Cold and snowy in most of Wisconsin is overall pretty rare during the La Nina years. El Ninos are warm, La Nino's are also typically above average with little snow. We'll see, I can only hope for more of a real winter this year!
I'm not too worried about what winter we get, I have plans on what to do indoors if the Winter gets Wild. Thankful for your view on the next few months. 😊😊
bought a new 2 stage self-driving snow blower this summer got a great deal on it I hope I get to use it a lot this winter here in West Michigan on the lakeshore
Hey Hunter! Hoping this plays out for northeast Ohio, these last few winters In northern Ohio have sucked with very warm temperatures, and ultimately no snow
We'll be closer to Neutral or in a weak La Nina this Winter season. That hasn't happened in quite a few years since we've been in so many strong La Nina's. This should mean more snow and colder weather for Ohio this Winter season.
I live in NW Ohio and yes we had a couple of mild winters. Local meteorologist been saying (Toledo) it should be a more of a winter this year. Although, Decembers have been warmer than normal in recent years due to climate change. Falls seem to linger longer and Spring weather seems to be pushed back. So we will probably not see the worst of winter hit until the beginning of January and February being brutal. I personally hate snow and cold. Driving on snow and ice with all those impatient drivers is awful anymore and I hate shoveling snow, having to get out of the driveway after snowstorms suck just to get to work. I will take this hot summer weather any day!
I'm up in the mountains of Vermont in the same boat. 2 years ago they said all significant snowfall is over for the season as I believe it was march 3rd already and we got 44" of extremely wet heavy snow....meanwhile like a fool i didn't have my big john deere tractor ready, I took the snowblower off my garden tractor which left me with the old troybilt walk behind snowblower my grandfather gave me lol that 35yr old blower worked so hard for 3 days straight as I'm deep in the woods with a very long driveway that I literally burned out the drivewheel
Keep in mind, every La Nina is different. The past several La Nina's have been strong La Nina's. This Winter looks completely different with Neutral to weak La Nina conditions expected. This means more cold and snow for the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley.
I'm expecting a weak La Nina this Winter. That means there's a better chance for temperatures like that occurring frequently across the Northern United States this Winter, especially January and February.
I'm in the Detroit suburbs. This summer has been, comparable to summers of past years, much more mild. Believe me, we have gotten 80°s - 90°s, and with humidity it's even hotter, but it's been relatively tame, in comparison.
I'm praying Raleigh gets a good snow this winter especially after such a long drought. It looks like December may be the best chance based on the maps so I'd love to see our first December snow since 2018
I remember a huge Triangle area snowstorm in January of 2000. We got about a foot and a half of snow and RDU was closed and I was stranded in NJ, work meetings we traveled for having been cancelled due to snow there also, and RDU was closed. I think Newark was closed the first day also but I don't recall for sure. Anyway, 2 days later, flying back into RDU was crazy, we had to go around in the pattern because they were still clearing snow between flights, and we got to see the barely cleared single open runway a few times. Made us a little concerned the plane would just slide off the end of the runway, but it was fine.
I'm expecting a colder and snowier Winter for Central Illinois this year. There will be a couple periods of warmer temperatures and rain/ice, especially early in the Winter, and then again late in the Winter. But overall, a colder and snowier Winter is expected.
Blizzard of 1991, I had 23 inches of deep snow on level ground. My stepfather was 88 years old, he said, this is the most snow he'd ever seen in his life. Snowdrifts were 12 feet deep in some places. My power was out for 4 days.
In the blizzard of '78 we had snow piled as high as one side of our house(single story ranch) and my brother and I would drag a sled up the antenna and slide down the other side. We were out of power for a week.
Worked at Midway airport from 1970 till 2016! We had severe winters through out the 70 s and 80 s and early 90s!We would get a good amount of snow, then a deep freeze! The wind on that airport was a killer! We would have snow still melting in huge mounds into mid June and later!76 years old now, retired 8 years ago!Had frost bite 3 times, all out side work!Old Chicago Guy!!!

Yayyyyyy its here!!! Im so exited thanks for this video!!😊
Winter officially begins in 121 days from now. Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Also, do you know if North ohio or the ohio Valley in general with get loads of snow?@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts
COME ON SNOWSTORMS to UpState NY!!!! ROC!!!!!
I just subscribed to your channel. I like how you reported the weather for the upcoming winter season. I understand that there will always be changes. I have confidence that you will keep us up to date and well informed. Thank you.
Thank you for subscribing! Much appreciated.
I’m glad I live in the southeast. I don’t have to worry about snow. It’s just a question of how often I will need to bring my winter coat.
This is the first weak La Niña Winter since 2013-2014.
Here in SE PA weve gotten like nothing...no big thunderstorms, not too hot, etc and now it looks like the Winter will be mild too lol
My ideal scenario in northern Illinois - cold, snowy December 1 - March 1, then above average temps
Sounds reasonable. December’s lately have been warmer than normal too.
I'm not too worried about what winter we get,
I have plans on what to do indoors if the Winter gets Wild.
Thankful for your view on the next few months.
😊😊
bought a new 2 stage self-driving snow blower this summer got a great deal on it I hope I get to use it a lot this winter here in West Michigan on the lakeshore
I like this forecast! Hope it's on the money!
Thanks Hunter!!!
You're welcome!
Yea we need SNOW in northeast Ohio, my wife and I have been snow deprived.
Y’all can move to Alaska or North Dakota if you like snow so bad lol. Very cold winters though
@@CDguyincalino we don’t need snow! Don’t want to live through the blizzard of 78 again!
Great job👍
Thank you!
I drove late on Dec 26th to San Antonio from Chicago with that blizzard on my heels!
I like your presentation style. Great information to be aware of.
Thank you!
I take the weather in Maine as it comes no point in worrying about it. Maine weather changes all the time
I'm up in the mountains of Vermont in the same boat.
I remember La Niña very well where it hardly snowed here wanna say that occurred during the 2018 winter
Keep in mind, every La Nina is different. The past several La Nina's have been strong La Nina's. This Winter looks completely different with Neutral to weak La Nina conditions expected. This means more cold and snow for the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley.
@@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts okay
I love blizzards and snowstorms but I will tell you what I don’t like. I HATE when it’s below 10 degrees.
I'm expecting a weak La Nina this Winter. That means there's a better chance for temperatures like that occurring frequently across the Northern United States this Winter, especially January and February.
I hope Pearland Tx get a longer winter this year and actually feel and see the changes of the seasons like a longer fall as well
I'm in the Detroit suburbs. This summer has been, comparable to summers of past years, much more mild. Believe me, we have gotten 80°s - 90°s, and with humidity it's even hotter, but it's been relatively tame, in comparison.
Thanks for doing what you do.
No problem. Thanks for watching.
Haven't seen a good snow in Phoenix Arizona since 1987 would like some snow this year.
I’m not happy to hear about a warm winter in FL. We’ve had record breaking temps all week! I just want Dec-March to be in the 70’s.
Excellent presentation my friend!
Thank you!
I'm used to cold snow and ice here in Michigan bring it on
Splendid forecast!
Thank you!
I am tired of mild winters here in Central Illinois!
I'm expecting a colder and snowier Winter for Central Illinois this year. There will be a couple periods of warmer temperatures and rain/ice, especially early in the Winter, and then again late in the Winter. But overall, a colder and snowier Winter is expected.
@WeatherOnTheGoForecasts Thank You!
@@loristewart800 You're welcome!
Looking good for Minnesota !
Need some good snowmobile conditions .
I hope your right
Its a bit before Christmas and new Years, don't rush it
Blizzard of 1991, I had 23 inches of deep snow on level ground. My stepfather was 88 years old, he said, this is the most snow he'd ever seen in his life.
Snowdrifts were 12 feet deep in some places. My power was out for 4 days.
Wow!
Your story would be much more interesting if you told us where this occurred 🙄
@@abunchahooey If you're talking to me, Ohio.
Thank you. I wish you would have included South Carolina.
