- Clumber Park is home to our national collection of rhubarb, more than 130 varieties. Rhubarb is popular in the kitchen gardens we care for because it's an easy grower and one of the first pops of colour each year. Spending time outside, whether it is tending to a veg patch or walking the dog is a great walk to refresh and revitalise your mood. You can find out more about Clumber park at www.nationaltr...

Great stuff, amazing how much this collection has grown. A fabulous reason to visit.
Lovely!
Please can anyone help me obtain crowns for Dwarf Rhubarb plants (edible not ornamental)
I understand that "Ruby Red Dwarf" would be ideal, but welcome suggestions
When splitting rhubarb and replanting do i have to leave it another year before picking?
Hello Marilyn. Yes you should leave the rhubarb for a year to recover after splitting and replanting.
Where do I get a root cutting of each?
The garden shop at Clumber Park sometimes sells plants from their collection but it's best to check with them before visiting as supplies vary throughout the year.
@@nationaltrustcharity I live in MN, USA
But how do i grow Custard??
If you could only have 2 varieties which would you choose?
Hello Marilyn, our gardeners recommend Timperley Early to give you a very early and abundant crop, followed by Victoria for a smaller but sweeter crop later in the season.
