Yes, and it can also be used in a professional way as long as you know what you're doing :) Martin Garrix for example uses Fruity Loops! There are many more artists that use Fruity Loops.

Mmm... yeah, FL Studio is kinda good but if you want to add your own style that differentiates from the others, it's better Logic or Ableton

Michael Flowers Only problem I had with Logic were the plugins. They weren't all that great. With plugins like Sylenth and Nexus, Logic is great! I found it difficult to make a song with just the factory plugins. Other than that, Logic is great! I came from FL and I love the factory plugins it has so plugin-wise, I prefer FL.

Michael Flowers What are you talking about? Your style depends on the unstruments you make/choose your samples etc... doesnt really depend at all on the daw. Fl studio by far has the best features that i have seen in any other daw

I think people should focus more on what plugins they have rather than what DAW you use. Plugins, and software make all the difference on just how great your sounds can or will be. If you can't afford to get some great software, or torrent great software, then just try finding a DAW which you feel has the best stock plugins. With that being said, you can surely create some great sounds from stock plugins. However, creating a professional EDM track without any professional samples, or plugins directed towards that music, can be extremely difficult with competing in the EDM genre of constant changes in sounds.

when it comes to FL Studio you should only buy fl studio if you CAN'T atford to buy any plug ins. i think FL studio is an okey plug ins but it has an extremely slow workflow. if you focus on the work flow you should buy Ableton
if i'm really focused i can finish a track in an hour 1/2

It all just depends on your work flow, I myself use fl studio simply because Ive gotten familiar with how the program works, I can put in beats and synths quickly with their sequencers all with the click of my mouse, but I've experienced both programs and both are good, but if you're a beginner to this then probably fl studio is better for you
