Nadal is playing with a lot of reserve right now, you can tell. He was better in Madrid than he was in Barcelona, and in Rome he will raise his level a bit more. At RG we'll see how good he can really be at this point in his career.
..and in the Olympics he will absolutely explode.
@@snickaren111 And then he will be a terminator in Wimbledon
that’s what i think too that he’s pacing himself. he will go full throttle in french open and olympics.
@@iamrips2132then he will be chuck norris in us open
I did not support Rafa for this whole carreer because I was a Federer fan but seeing Rafa leaving is one of the hardest thing to see in tennis. Life goes on 😢
Nah, f him.
you are dead right, I was a Federer fan too, but Rafa's farewell to his people in Madrid, after the match, saddened me almost to tears. He is a great man of sport, one of the greatest tennis players, by far the best on clay and a wonderful soul.
For me it was the other way around. Total supporter of Rafa but also great fan an admirer of Roger reason why I felt very sad chen he had yo day goodbye. Unforgetable memories of both rivals and great friends. Les son for sportsworld. Bravo!! Great job Jiri!!!
I never liked Rafa either...but when uncle Toni left him, Rafa's true personality came through...he is actually a good guy.
Same sunset of a generation
Imagine achieving what Rafa has and still having goals
Such a legend
sad to see him leaving the sport..i was alaways a big fan of RF, so naturally Rafa was the enemy, but he has really grown on me like a fine wine...Rafa is unique
He's an tennis icon, like Roger, Novak, we'll all miss these 3 players when they have retired, and one has already
I had no idea Lehecky was this good - in skills, athleticism, and character. Laser-focused as a competitor, and a gracious winner, not holding the crowd’s favoritism against anyone.
Bro Who? You Mean Lehecka the goat?
Great game by Jiri, good luck.💪
Grande RAFA👏🔥🎾
WIll see you soon in French open
What a night! I felt sorry for Jiri, he played Incredibly well and deserved applause so much more. Yes, and RAFA.. i don’t want to think of the time he will not play anymore❤️💔🎾🥲
It looks like Lehecka has learned a thing or two from Novak about dealing with hostile crowds. Great match and I hope Nadal finds his rhythm soon, given the struggles he underwent
His coach is berdych who played during Rafa and Roger’s primes and was not a fan favorite either….
ndl wont find any rhythm bc he wont recover to tour level.
Hostile crowds? Please, this is a sport which has fans just like any other sport. There is a reason why they call it "home court advantage" it includes having majority fan support. Every player/team in sport have to deal it with it.
@@jfil5518Yes but in lot
Other sports you play in teams. In tennis you play solo so it the hardest mental sport on earth
@@professor3095 I agree it is a hard sport but I'm talking about the fans. The most popular sports all have passionate fans, you have to expect that in sport and especially under the current circumstances with Nadal.
1:19 First 2 Rome Finals for Nadal were without exageration, 2 of the best matches of all time, at least on clay. Also his point against Stepanek in Rome 2005 is perhaps his greatest point of all time - and that is saying SOMETHING
That point was the most incredible display of athleticism by any tennis player.
@@domagojhrgovic7419 that single point, destroyed the laws of physics themselves two or three times xD
Respect for Rafa he will always be part of tennis history and will always leave beautiful emotions to everyone
Jiri answers very well and he shown a great attitude and professionalism. Great player . Rafa definitely one of probably ( for my generation ) the legend of tennis !
Rafa definitely moved better than in Barcelona. Hopefully his body will let him peek in Paris.
We will miss u so.much Rafa. You are very special and unique and did so much for tennis. Please keep going maki g a model.for others.
Madrid was.so special and amazing
Great performance by Jiří. Rafa is the best always and forever. 🎾🤩
Jiri played so good... 1 service was amazing..230km/h. He was like Iván Drago. He Will be a great tenis player. Focused sportman, determination.
Jiri has the right mentality. He goes in mentally prepared with resoect for rafa but not comoirmising his self belief. He did bot take anything away from his victory as he chose to believe he played at a level that could hurt eveb the best. Hope he goes on winning.
Beast performance from Lehecka, no-nonsense, pure power.
Ouvré les yeux , il est usé , il peu plus gagner en en 2 sets alors en 5 imaginé 🤔
@@lionelcune5169 Lehecka destroyed him. To good.
a GOAT, a legend, champion, greatest human!
Fantastic mentality and attitude from Jiri
It is really so tough to enjoy the game without him . His humiliation besides his game is just so admirable.
Rafa n Federer friendship is a benchmark for the game n the world to see.
Both will be missed so so dearly😌.
First saw him play Wimbledon a couple years ago - what a player he could become. Net game is spectacular when he's on form.
Good attitude for playing the match from Jiri. Let's see how he maintains the level. Nothing wrong with asking for a momento. You can still be a champion and be gracious.
Rafa has more options in Bo5 ...and has been a master at it ... won't be surprised if he goes deep at RG.
Lehecka is just saying that Cachin's approach would not have worked for him. Cachin did play to win. 💯
cachin CAN win, he just needs how to CLOSE a game, to win it, he gets close, then he slides off the mark.
Lehecka says "no disrespect" meant to Cachin and then goes on to disrespect him in front of the world: "I would never do what Cachin did and run after Rafa." !
@@ksc743 He simply told the truth, and was VERY polite about it. It was a bit embarrassing what Cachin did.
Tbh i agree, that was weird, in football that happens and it's not a Big deal but tennis rivalry and admiration have their time and place@@ksc743
and for the prizemoney... Ca-chin'!
My favorite tennis player!!!🎾
Rafa is not playing full throttle , I can say that , I think Rome , french open he will play at peak level.
What he said about éther tee shirt is very true
Rafa played very well all matches, Jiri had some good games, strokes and dropshots in important moments, nothing to be ashamed about, keep going Rafa! 👍🏼🙏🏼
Always loved Rafa. Will miss him on the Court. The same I felt with Serena.
imagine first round in Rome Rafa vs Nole
I was a fan of Federer but changed to supporting Rafa after he lost to Roger in his first Wimbledon final. He is a true champion when he wins and when he loses.
Jiri looks quiet matured n level headed..... But his take on cachins act will surely get him some hate n get misunderstood though he sounded respectful to both rafa n cachin
First round RG against djoker!!!!
hit the nail on the head with the cachin comment. cachin came to lose
Novak told him to say that
The great Nadal is just playing clay court matches as a tune up. It is Roland Garros 2024, where he will gradually go all out, to win it.
yes and hopefully olympics too since it will be played at rolland garros
Surprise that Jeri is very in English speaking
Is Jiri Iga's brother?
They are from different countries
@@pontusschroder8361 I know but they look the same lol
😢rafa will ger his 15th trophy at. RG.vamos rafa.
like the cup in Madrid?
Cachin did not go into the match with the intention to collect a T-Shirt from Nadal. In fact, he played for the win but Nadal ended up winning. It was all momentarily for Cachin to ask He realised it was an opportunity and at a stadium like that. It was a grand one. What is the big deal? This Jiri guy should have passed on the question. Who is he to put another player down on their decision? Arrogance! Unless he is so inept at the way he communicates.
It's too bad Novak was unable to be at this tournament. I think it would be beautiful to see him destroy Nadal a few more times before Nadal slinks off into the sunset.
Rafa and Tsitsipas are by far the best clay players right now.
Both incredible to watch, the old gen and next gen.
Really exciting stuff😊
Nadal nagyon Klasszis játékos most nem kéne mondogatni jönnek elő a Fiatalok, de hamarabb faradtabbak lesznek. Olyanok nem lesznek, mint Federer, Nadal Imádom Őket. 50 év múlva is Nagy Jatekosok lesznek a Tortenelembe. 💯💯💯🙋♀️🍀🍀🍀🌠🌠🌠 ❤❤❤
Vieni a Roma perché in ogni caso bisogna salutare l’imperatore della terra rossa
Rafael Nadal hits out at Djokovic for not getting Covid-19 vaccine….
Nadal….go, please leave the stage and take a jab…..
What's wrong with you ?
And the Djoker always has a cold or flu every 6 months now since he got covid two or three times in 2020 and '21.
@@brucewayne2480 Did you know what happens since march 2020…? I guess No…
@@TheBlessedLion yes I know, Djokovic was not a victime, he just chose to not follow the rules, I'm not saying this is good or bad. I'm saying that he assumed and Nadal didn't say nothing wrong
alvanerie
He has more chances of winning in RG because he hasn't lost a set there and not all of his opponents last 5 sets there. Will see with Jannik
Rg
lastima no puede comprar a los arbitros como su real madrid
Lehecka played amazing shots.. but no appreciation from Claydull or crowd. And Karma happens.
SALTY CLAYDUL will always be 2nd in history 😅
Nadal will be injured after RG, as always
⬆️⬆️⬆️⚠️ bait ⚠️⬆️⬆️⬆️
Nadal will retire after the Olympics, unfortunately. So if you don’t want to celebrate a real idol of this sport just shut it and go watch your fav Serb.
Jesus Christ he did applause Lehecka for some of the shots he produced last night.
Yes rafa is salty especially when it comes to Novak but these last days of his aren't the time to belittle him. Pls celebrate him. 🙏
