I had to recertify for Medicaid and the little foodstamps I receive.

I remember telling people over 30 years that I can't afford to have anymore kids because my taxes are supporting migrants that come here illegally. OVER 30 years ago, I realized that my dream of having more kids wouldn't be a reality because I was being forced to pay for people that didn't even enter the country legally.
Our kids are deciding not to have kids because they can't afford it and we have thousands of adults, single mothers and families, bringing their kids they couldn't afford to support to our country for us taxpayers to support. This is so messed up

This situation is completely out of control. Round them up and move them out UNTIL they are vetted and come in the correct way. Schools are already the reason for 2/3 of the towns budget. Elderly on a fixed income are being taxed out of their homes.
I live in middle America. You can't just dump them in "open spaces" AKA farm land. My whole school K-12 had 200 students we can't just double it overnight. Plus I can guarantee we didn't vote for the policies causing the problem. Keep them in the blue states that wanted this.

Our local holiday inns are full of migrants and several buses come every morning to pick up all the kids to take them to school. I live in Massachusetts. You have to wonder how the schools are supposed to handle this.

No way this succeeds... too large an influx. The migrant students need intermediary training and when they are adept at grade level then they should send them to public school. This can otherwise turn into an Us & Them situation and we know how nasty kids can be towards one another.
I feel bad for all involved. This has to be stressful for everyone. Also our town is holding a vote to substantially increase the school budget. This must be happening everywhere.

I do not hear enough from the republican congressmen and senators about the plan to send them back.
I was staying in a Boston shelter after losing everything from spending 5 months in the hospital from a spinal cord infection. I've been back to work for 2 months at this point when the assistant manager told me I had to leave last week because my room will now be occupied by a migrant family. I have to live in my car. I'm devastated!!- I can't believe I'm homeless again!! I wasn't planning to be forever- I just need a few more months to put money aside so I can leave Massachusetts. She just put me backwards!!

I use to work with a young lady back in 2013 that had just graduated High school in California and she had said that they had so many Migrants that all her classes where spoken in english and spanish and how it was so annoying that it took double the time to teach them .
They told my son he didn't need to learn a foreign language while spouting No Child Left Behind for the foreign students.

Just watched 3 blk ladies that moved to Mexico. They said they are learning Spanish because that's the language spoken. Bet $100 those same ladies didn't mind the illegals here in the US not having to learn English. Most Spanish speakers here never learn English and there children translate for them. I see it in stores.

As a life long resident of Roxbury Massachusetts, I believe that the purpose of this move is to encourage the palm hand colored residents to move back into our neighborhoods in Boston ( which are predominantly black and brown families) and push us out to the suburbs! Back in the 70's that's what they did but the other way around. They wanted a calmer, peaceful town so they moved out of Boston and we settled in Boston. They have been raising the property taxes, renting is almost impossible for the average family. They buying up ALL and any little piece of land to build condos. It's out of control. The poor is getting poorer while the rich is getting richer and there's NOTHING to stop this !

I’m a nurse …tell me about it….having to take care of them is frustrating…….and they are not the cleanest ….bed bugs,scabies,ringworm,lice..head and pubic,TB, and numerous STD’s. When we are getting report on a new admission it goes like this…”She doesn’t speak English and she has scabies and head lice…..we treated her for Chlamydia. You have to ask the Doctor to order more meds for the STD and Nix for the head lice…and oh by the way we think she might have bedbugs we sent all of her belongings home with the family.She will be to your floor in about 15 minutes and we tried to use the translation phone service but they don’t have anyone that speaks her language/dialect….she is from somewhere in Africa.

I think the only way to make that situation more fair is to possibly find a closed school in the town & reopening it specifically for the new students who are going to need extra services such as learning English as most of the migrant children come speaking Spanish. This school should have to be 100% funded by the federal government since they are the ones who allowed them into the country.The local taxpayer shouldn’t have to pay the full burden of poor decisions made at the border.
I was naive as well but learned very quickly that people from other countries have very different values and were raised very differently than we were here in the US. And unfortunately most of these people are not coming here to assimilate.

They’ll be served three meals a day with endless snacks and drinks, laundry services, maid service, baby supplies, phones, personal supplies, clothes, debit cards, transportation, air conditioning, counseling, medical care., legal services, SSI, security, and more.

Another thing people aren’t thinking about is who is going to be there to help these children with the language barriers. My friend in Chicago is on her kids schools PTA and they are struggling to find qualified help for every grade and to accommodate everyone.
This is going to cause the people of Norfork who already have allowed 2 prison's in there town to sell there home's and move to other states that don't have this problem...
The government did this to a tiny town that I lived in about 35 years ago. They dumped hundreds of Laotions in our town of about 5,000. So the citizens dogs started disappearing at a remarkable rate. The Laotions were stealing the dogs of the citizens for food. Then, to add insult to injury, law enforcement told people that there wasn't anything they could do.

They've been doing it for decades. It's also not about democrats vs republicans. There is evil on both sides. I have been doing a lot of research for several years now. We are literally on the brink of losing our American way of life. It's going to take the American public to fight to take it back. We do have that right.

Massachusetts is a mess... My little town outside Boston had a murder a few months back... Governor is asking residents to take in migrant families. Crime is way up. You cannot find a 2 bedroom apartment under $2000. It is absolutely unlivable at this point.
Outside Boston? I am surprised that apartment isn't 3k, I'm up in NH and a 2 bedroom is 2k.

Being housed in a prison would have been a huge improvement over what I've been house in on every one of my US military deployments.
If it's good enough for our military, then it should be good enough for them.
These protesters need to take the migrants home with them and take care of them.

While us Americans go homeless and without medical care. I’m boiling why didn’t they go to these drastic measures for us. I think all of us Americans should pay for each of their tickets back to their countries.
None of them should be here, period. Not a single tax dollar should be used to support any of them.
As we are concerned about immigrants being homeless what about our American citizens that are homeless teachers paramedics EMS workers doctors teachers Corrections Officers security officers let's not forget about our veterans who fought for our country who are homeless who are denied benefits we should be really looking after our American people first before taking on other people's responsibilities
There's a limit to compassion. There's a difference between co.passion and being suckered. Basic finance. You can't have 500 children in a school.whete only 250 kids parents paying for the school. Wrong! No matter the age, illegal is illegal.
it's not it works. the taxes collected from the city/town pays for public schools. not just the parents of children going to said public schools. there's also federal funding

From Massachusetts this governor took in 1 million migrants. In my city 3,000 families came here every town around me anywhere from 300 to 1000. 30 million came in to America. CBP one app actually flys them here. Logan air port was storing Families for 4 years. They keep coming. Now they are not only in most of the hotels throughout the State now they’re in an old prison which closed a couple of years ago.
How long can Massachusetts pay for 1 or more millions of people unemployed just sucking the system’s dry.
